Brief summary of the quality data reconciliation
The updated Dragon model only use the quality data from validation holes and all quality data received from T161 were not used due to the regression reliability issue previously. T161 provided more original quality data in July 2012, and Peabody tried to find some additional value.
Below steps are summary of the data reconciliation:
∙Original data with 2491 samples received from T161 in July 2012 (V0)
∙Format the table (V1)
o Change all Chinese to English
o Adjust the floor depth with “text to column”
o Delete the original composite rows
∙Check the sample depth “from” and “to”, revise the obvious mistakes (V2)
∙Strategy (V3)
o Insert columns with formulas
▪Use Pivot table to sort out the holes with litho data (composite seam name,
from and to)
▪Exist in litho (B): purpose to find out holes with litho or in the model data base;
▪Seam ID (D): purpose to check both top and bottom of sample in the seam
▪Top seam (E): purpose to check only top of sample in the seam
▪Bottom seam (F): purpose to check only bottom in the seam
▪Seam final (G): to finalize the seam name
▪Seam from and to (H & I): the “from and to” of the seam in “bottom
seam ”column
▪Closest interval (N): the from depth of the closest seam
▪Closest seam (O): the name of the closest seam based on from depth
▪Closest interval (R): the to depth of the closest seam
▪Closest seam (S): the name of the closest seam based on to depth o Check the exist in litho: if not with litho, just leave them blank
o Check the quality intervals are suitable with the litho interval or not (check D,E,F columns)
▪They are 5 types of the results: all match, all unmatch, only E match, only F
match and EF different
▪For all unmatch, leave them blank
▪For all match: keep the final seam name and adjust depth accordingly
▪Check careful for other 3 types
▪Some samples need to be separated if they contain 2 intervals ∙Sort out data (V4)
o Sort out and delete holes without litho: 6 holes of 220-3, 234-1, 234-2, 242-1, 580-1, ST128; (after this step, total of 2575 samples left)
o Sort out the sample with depths (from and to) all unmatch litho, and delete them; (after this step, total of 2445 samples left )
∙Format table (V5)
o Delete columns with formula for reference:
▪Exist in litho, Seam ID, Top Seam, Bottom Seam, Seam From, Seam To, Closest
interval, Closest Seam
▪Bulk Seam ID (use formula “if left”)
▪Hide columns of Team 161original Seam ID, from and to
Raised issues:
∙610-6
o First coal depth different in the original hole and the validation hole。
