叶舜雅（2017）认为，社交性，需求被动性，内容自我可持续性，信息双向沟通和信任转移是社交电子商务的特点，与普通的电子交易不同，社交电商用户的需求是被动的[4]。
由于社区中朋友的购买和推荐，用户往往倾向于购买。
（2）对社交电子商务发展现状研究余蓉（2020）提出社交电商的最终目标是让用户消费。
他们也分析总结了社交电子商务现在的发展过程中存在移动支付受到限制，流量消耗过大，行业标准不完善等问题[5]。
