本周印象最深的一件事，是这个星期的“希望之星”英语大赛。

星期四，我们要进行“希望之星”的英语考试，这次英语考试是参加中央电视台大赛的，同学们一听，都非常吃惊，因为前几天刚刚考了英语，怎么又要考试？虽然是参加中央电视台的大赛，但是同学们一点兴趣也没有。

我听了以后，心里非常着急，怕考不好妈妈训我。

同学们还在议论的时候，我连忙拿起了英语书，仔细的记好每一个重点。

一声哨声响起，只见两个老师拿着我们要考的试卷走进了教室里，给我们每人一个一个的发了下来，当同学们看到试卷后，才知道这次考试的题有多难！只听有的同学说：“题好难呀！我弃权了吧！”这是，李老师听到了我们的话后语重心长的说：“你们如果题过关了，但不想参加大赛，那是可以的，但是如果没有过关，那就是别人不想让你参加，所以说自己一定要加油努力呀！”这几句话顿时让我心里有了力量。

我想：一定要尽自己最大的努力，好好考试，交上一份满意的答卷。

不一会我的试卷就做完了，我心情复杂的交了上去。

通过这次考试，我认真的思考了李老师的话，明白了一个道理：在做什么事之前，不要先退缩，只有试过了以后，才能知道自己行不行。
