The content of my lesson is Module 2 Unit 3 Amazing people Welcome to the unit & Reading. The title of the passage is The curse of the mummy. I’ll be ready to begin this lesson from f our parts: analysis of the teaching aims, the difficult and important points, the teaching methods, and the teaching procedure. First, let me talk about the teaching aims.Teaching aims:This passage is about the mummy and the curse of it. By studying this, we’ll enable the students to know the mystery of Tutankhamun’s tomb and the significance of exploration. After reading this text, we can raise the students’ awareness of protecting t he cultural heritage and motivate their interest in archeology.1. Knowledge objects:Broaden students’ knowledge of the mummy by listening, speaking and reading.2. Ability objects:1)Make students grasp the reading strategy— Prediction.2) Improve student’s reading comprehension after finishing several tasks.3. Moral objects:Motivate the students’ interest in archeology and raisethe awareness of the significance of exploration and protecting the cultural heritage.Important points and the Difficult points:1.
