Unit 3 Where did you go ?Hello, everyone. Today I’m very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is Part A Let’s learn from Unit 3 Where did you go ,Grade 6. It is made up of four parts.Part 1 My understanding of this lessonThe analysis of the teaching material:This lesson talks about verbs. It plays a very important part in the English teaching of this unit. By studying this, Ss can learn more new verbs. At the same time, we should get the students to understand some difficult sentences better. The Ss should do some listening, speaking and writing, too. Of course, the Ss should receive some moral education. Let the Ss understand the verbs better,.Teaching aims:1. Knowledge aim: Understand the words and expressions.2. 人教版新课标PEP小学英语六年级下册Unit3 说课稿(第2课时)Unit 3 Last Weekend Part A第二课时说课一.教材、学生分析对于本单元来说,这是第二课时,通过第一课时的学习,大部分学生已经熟练掌握了动词过去式的短语以及what did you do last weekend? I visited my grandparents.这个句子的听说认读。
而通过本课的学习,学生便能完成一个更高的目标:能够熟练运用what did you do last weekend? I played football. 进行一般过去式语言交流和实际交际并能够书写。
而熟练运用也是这个课的难点。
同时,根据学生的个别差异,根据新课标,学生的学习,下要保底,上不封顶,我还为学生设计以下机动的目标:初步用过去式的一般疑问句形式进行询问和回答。
以及what did you do last weekend? I visited my grandparents.这个句子的扩展,如人称,时间,事情上的扩展。
我认为,在学生学习语言知识的同时,应该关注学生的全人发展。
因此,我希望通过本课的学习学生能够知道如何合理的安排生活,能够知道尊老爱幼这个美德。
同时学会关心他人、热爱生活,积极参加各类有益的课外活动。
同时,在学习策略上也有所增强,比如记忆力判断等。
二、教法学法新课程标准没有提到小学英语应该使用哪一种教学方法。
不过都提到了应该以学生为中心的原则下,多种教学方相结合,让学生在做事情的过程中,学习语言运用语言掌握语言。
因此在本堂课中我才用了任务型教学方法和情境教学法两种教学方法。
学生在这个过程中进行的是意义学习而非机械学习,是发现学习而非接受学习。
三.教学过程设计在开始上课之前我准备了多媒体课件,并在每个位置上贴了一张单次卡片,上写有各种学生经常做的动作词汇。
热身:我觉得在课堂的开始,教师应该让学生以轻松愉快心情进入学习状态。

能在图片的帮助下听懂、读懂并讲述简单的故事。
能根据图片或提示写简单的句子。
在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主动请教。
乐于了解异国文化习俗。

d.能够认识、拼读pronunciation部分的音标及例词,完成连线活动。

3【情感目标】在实际的对话练习中培养学生的学习兴趣以及团结合作说教材编写意图本册教材的编写意图是这样的:首先是学生学习兴趣的培养,让学生乐于表达,以不同方式最大限度地激发学生的学习兴趣;其次是注重学生语言运用能力的培养,突出语言的实践性和交际性;再次是自学能力和学习策略的培养,使学生能够自己去学,愿意去学,为以后进一步学习打下基础;最后是中外文化的双向交流,让学生了解中西方文化差异。

说教法1.教法设计小学英语教学应该把培养学生的学习兴趣、调动学生学习英语的主动性作为教学重点,根据学生的认知规律,本课采用以下教学法-----让学生通过思考、交流和合作等方式学习和使用英语完成本课学习任务.2.学法指导在学习过程中,从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与和交流的学习方式,培养学生的英语综合语言运用能力,主动思维,大胆实践,形成自主学习的能力.3.教学手段根据本课教材的特点,我除了采用常规的教学手段外,同时采用了现代教学技术,使学生的多种感官共同参与到整个学习过程中,激发学生的学习兴趣,提高课堂教学效率.说设计1.导入设计(1)warm up在热身时让学生一起说唱五年级下册第一单元第一单元中的chant.让学生进入到学习英语的氛围中,同时复习与周末相关的动词短语。

编排体系:本册教材共四个单元,外加两个复习单元,还有两个生词表。
每个单元分为A B C三个部分,一个Let’s chant, 一个Let’s sing 两个Let’s read和两个Let’s talk及story time知识和技能立体式的整合教材的立体整合A横向整合:我将本单元的知识点横向整合为语音、词汇、对话、语法及交际用语。
语音知识:本教材将学完所有音标,主要是能分辨字母和字母组合在单词中的发音。
词汇知识:形容词比较级、表示情绪的形容词。

Now I will introduce my lesson from 4 Parts.Part One General IntroductionBasically, there are 5 aspects in this part.ⅠAnalysis of teaching materialFirst,The content I’m going to talk about is part A of unit 6 in PEP primary English book 7.This unit talks about feelings. The key sentences of this lesson as below: How does he/she feel? She/He is…And the key words are worried, angry, happy, afraid and sad. Today I will focus on the feelings that how to express oneself. What’s more, people can employ these key points in some real situations.Ⅱ Analysis of studentsThen our Ss are in grade 6. They are active, curious and interested in new things. After learning English for more than 3 years, they have some basic English background knowledge, so I should attach the importance to the communication with Ss, and providing them the chances of using language.ⅢTeaching aimsBased on analysis of teaching material and students, the teaching aims are designed as following: 1:Knowledge aims: In this part, Ss are required to master the five words ( worried, angry, happy, afraid and sad ) and the sentence patterns “How does he/she feel? She is…”2:Ability aims: Ss are going to learn how to apply the words and expressions they’ve learned in their daily life. The good news is that this unit is so closely connected with their daily life that it is not difficult to set a life-like language environment for them to practice what they’ve learned in class3:Emotion aims: We should make Ss become aware of their own feelings. And also teach them to help and humility each other. In this way to help them develop a healthy and positive character. ⅣTeaching important and difficult pointsAccording to the teaching aims. The key points are…1: Ss can ask and answer the following questions: How does he/she feel? He/she is…2: Ss are able to listen, speak read and write the new words.The difficult points are:1:how to help Ss use the important words and patterns correctly and skillfully.2:how to help Ss master the pronunciation of some hard words: worried and afraid.ⅤTeaching methods:In order to achieve the teaching aims, stress the important points and breakthrough the difficult points. I used Total Physical Response, Situation creation and “ task-based” teaching method s. Part Two Teaching procedures:Now , I will mainly talk about my teaching procedures. I will follow five steps.Step 1 warm upActivity 1: Sing a song. To lead in the lesson, I will play the song to arouse Ss’ learning interest about the feelings. It can attract Ss’attention quickly and bring them into the situation of learning new knowledge .It also can present the word –happy.Activity 2: Ask and answer: After listening to this song, I will ask Ss a question. I am happy. How about you? How do you feel now? It can pave ways for the next teaching situation.Step 2 PresentationCombining with the last question in Step 1, How do you feel now, I ask Ss to reply this question with the key word, happy . I design this part for the next presentation, How does Mr Zhou feel?/How does Sarah feel? By comparison, Ss can find the changes of third person singular of do .1.Presentation of new wordsB ecause Ss have already mastered the song, so the word “happy” is not difficult for them, and I will not spend much time on this word.First of all, with the help of PPT, we can see the homepage of angry and afraid. I will say: Look, the cat broke the bottle. So Sarah is very…angry. And the cat is very…And write down the word and let Ss read. By playing the PPT, I will present the words (angry/afraid) and sentence patterns. Secondly, I will say: oh. I have a cold. I am ill. I am very sad. I set situations to present the word sad and worried. I will say: tomorrow you will have an exam. You are very…worried. I can ask: The cat is ill. So how does Sarah feel? In this part, I will show more pictures to guide Ss to answer questions with new words and sentence patterns.the purpose of this is to present the new words and sentences in real situation. It can help the Ss understand the language easily and naturally.Thirdly ,with the help of the CAI, both teacher and Ss read the chant together. In this part, we can strengthen Ss’ impression of the words and the sentence patterns.At last, back to textbook.2.Understanding of the part ‘let’s learn’In order to check their understanding and pave the way for further performance. I ask some students to retell the story with the help of pictures and expressions. I give an example like this: One day, the cat broke the bottle, Sarah is angry, the cat is afraid. …It is not only beneficial for Ss to comprehend the words but also teach them a kind of reading method.Step 3 PracticePlay a game: What’s missing? In order to check the knowledge Ss have learned in this unit, I will play two games .And proper games can arouse the Ss’interest in English learning.In the last tasks, it is also very important for the Ss to put the language into use. So I design a guessing game to check up if Ss have mastered the knowledge they have just learned. Ss can use the knowledge by doing, speaking and playing. We should practice the writing ability according to the part ‘ write and say’Step 4 Extension and conclusionWe have feelings, and animals also have feelings. So how do they feel? What will they do? We can extend some interesting information about animals’ feelings. We can express our feelings and develop a healthy and positive character.After 4 steps , some pupils can grasp the knowledge well, but some pupils can’t. So revision is important, pupils should speak English after class as much as they do in class.Step 5 HomeworkIt is necessary for the pupils to do some exercises after class. According to Ss’ mastering level, I arrange the homework for 2 parts. It is not only reduce Ss’ Learning burden, but also keep Ss’interest in doing homework.A.Copy the words. This part is for Ss Who just grasp the basic Knowledge.B.Retell the story to their parents. This is for Ss who has the higher level.Part 6 Blackboard design:A good Bb design can make Ss get key information in limited time. I will make a design like this: The title of this lesson is on the top of the blackboard. Divide the rest of Bb into three parts. The left is for the key sentences, the middle is for the main patterns and structures, while the right is for the new words and some stick figures.Part 7 Teaching reflectionThis is my idea about teaching plan of this lesson.
