Cover letter for revised manuscript sample Dear Editor of the 此处写期刊英文名称:Thank you for your letter and thanks for your careful review to our manuscript entitled "论文题目". We would like to submit the revised manuscript entitled "论文题目(修改后的)". In our revised manuscript, the advices of reviewers were accepted and we make some revise. The list of revised items was upload as supporting information (filename: list of revised items). The following is the answer for the reviewer’s comments.Problems Answered:1. On Page 3 (lines 50-55), the authors said that preliminarystudies have shown that 4 hours were sufficient for attaining equilibrium. Which are these preliminary studies?, You should give the references.Answer: We made a mistake. We want to say that according to our previous experiments, four hours were sufficient for attaining equilibrium. Our English is not so good. In fact, the composition of two phases remains the same after two hours. In order to make sure that the equilibrium is attained, four hours are given. The time used here for equilibrium and phase splitting was fixed according to results from our previous experiments.2. On Table 2 is expected that: w1,II + w2,II + w3,II + w4,II be equals to 1. However, using your results for the last series I obtainthe following result: 0.327 + 0.658 + 0.016 + 0.002 = 1.003. Why?Answer: According to the original data, it is a mistake that 0.327 should be 0.324. 3. In the Abstract and in the page 5 (line 24) the authors stated that “the reliability of theexperimental data were taste using the Othmer –Tobias correlation”. Good correlationresults with the empirical Othmer –Tobias equation are not criteria accuracy of the fitting data. This is wrong. Good representation of the experimental data with the empirical equation do not means that the data accurate. Even wrong data can be accurately correlates with anyempirical equations.Answer: We think you are right and we revised it. But Reference [16], [17] also said so. The abstract of Reference [16] is following:Liquid-liquid equilibrium (LLE) data for four ternary systems comprising cyclohexane + (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, or cumene) + sulfolane have been measured at 303.15 K and at atmospheric pressure. The LLE data for a six-component system including (cyclohexane + benzene + toluene + ethylbenzene + cumene + sulfolane) has also been measured at the above conditions. The reliability of the experimental data wastestedusing the Othmer-Tobias correlation. The LLE data were then analyzed using a UNIFACmodel with group-interaction parameters extracted from the UNIFAC-LLE data bank and a NRTL version with temperature-dependent binary parameters determined from the experimental LLE data (NRTL/2), both as programmed by the Aspen Plus simulator. Based on the analysis of these data, both models represented the experimental data with sufficient accuracy as revealed from the very small values of the root mean square error and the average absolute deviation in composition.4. Please give some comment how extraction of the samples from each phase is effected on the uncertainty of the measurements. Because, when samples extracting from the phase the equilibrium condition can be slightly changed.Answer: We tried our best to get the samples of two phases at the same time and the amounts of samples are much less compared with that of the material of two phases. 回复邀请函英语作文格式(五年级)Dear Mrs. Smith,Thank you so much for the kind invitation to attend the science camp at Green Valley Nature Preserve this summer. I was absolutely thrilled when I opened the letter and read about the exciting activities and learning opportunities that will be offered. As someone who loves science and the outdoors, this camp sounds like a perfect fit for me!First off, I have to say how impressed I was by the diverse range of subjects and hands-on activities described in the camp brochure. The chance to explore different fields of science through fun, interactive projects is something I know I would thoroughly enjoy. I'm really looking forward to the nature hikes and learning about the local plants, animals and ecosystems. Observing different species in their natural habitats and understanding how they interrelate will be fascinating.I also can't wait for the chemistry experiments! Making small explosions and seeing cool chemical reactions happen right before my eyes sounds awesome. I've tried a few simple experiments at home, like making a baking soda and vinegar volcano, but I'm excited to use real scientific equipment andlearn proper lab techniques. The physics activities assembling simple machines and building catapults also look like they'll be a blast. Hands-on learning is the best way for me to understand difficult concepts. In addition to the academic enrichment, I'm really excited about some of the recreational activities too. Camping out under the stars, toasting marshmallows around the campfire, and stargazing through telescopes all sound like such fun! I've been camping with my family before, but doing it with a group and getting lessons about the night sky will make it even cooler. One of my biggest passions is art, so I can't wait to try my hand at nature photography and sketching plants and wildlife from observation. Capturing the beauty of the outdoors through images and drawings is a great way for me to experiment with different creative techniques. I'm definitely planning to bring my nicest colored pencils and a sketchpad! Maybe I'll even create a nature journal over the course of the week. From everything I've read, this science camp seems to have the perfect balance of learning and play. I'll get to pursue my curiosity about the natural world through academic instruction and stimulating group projects. But there will also be plenty ofopportunities to just be a kid - running around outdoors, making new friends, and going on adventures. One of the things I'm most looking forward to is meeting fellow students who share my interests and enthusiasm for science. At my regular school, I don't know many other kids who get as excited as I do about things like chemical reactions or studying ecosystems. This camp will allow me to connect with peers who have similar passions. I'm sure I'll make great new friends and fantastic memories over that action-packed week.I've already started counting down the days until science camp! This opportunity to learn in an engaging, hands-on environment while having outdoor adventures sounds like an absolute dream come true. I can't wait to gain knowledge and skills from the expert instructors while also having a ton of fun. Experiences like these are what stick in your memory and shape your interests for years to come. Please let me know if any additional information is needed from me to finalize my registration. I'll be sure to start preparing by reading up on the local environment and wildlife. Thank you again for the wonderful invitation - I can't wait for this adventure to begin!Sincerely,[Your Name]。

②to 改为at 。
laugh at sb.是固定词组,意思是“嘲笑某人”。
③or 改为but 。
根据语境不难看出这里是表示转折的逻辑关系。
④advices 改为advice 。
advice 是不可数名词。
3.评分:按中考英语作文满分20的评分标准,本文修改前可得18分。

What topic are you going to talk about? The faculty will cover your flight tickets and your hotel costs (up to an amount of 10,000 SEK). As far as I understand, you will need a visa which you could apply for at the Swedish Embassy in United Kingdom. In order to apply a visa, you will need a letter of invitation from us. Before I can write such a letter, we will have to settle a date, on March 15-17? Would that be suitable for you?Best regards,Joseph NacinoProfessor of Criminal LawSample 2Enquiring About Agenda and AccommodationFrom JohnWilliams@To LiangHong@Subject Agenda of the MeetingDate 20 March, 2007Dear Prof. Liang,As you know we will now have two separate meetings at Shandong University, respectively on the 13th and 14th of April. Many thanks again to you for arranging this. In this respect, however, the question is whether there is still an opportunity to organize a guest lecture, despite our unfortunately limited time in Jinan. In principle, either Prof. Kamperman Sanders (environmental planning and management) or I (biological repairing of destroyed environment) could give a lecture on April 14, but we do not know whether time permits this. Please let us know if you think we can still plan something in this respect. We have one other question: could you please suggest us a hotel in the area of Shandong University? The two of us will stay two nights in Jinan.Thank you very much in advance for replying soon. With kind regards,John WilliamsPS: Further details regarding our upcoming meeting with the dean will follow soon.3.An application letter for a job and graduate programSample 1An application letter for a jobWang HongNo. 2 Building, Tiantan EastChongwen DistrictMay 1, 2012Personnel OfficeA Fl. 2, Huixin BuildingAsian Games VillageBeijingDear Sirs,I should like to apply for the post of service technician, which you advertised in China Daily today.I attended Huadong College of Science and Engineering from 2004 to 2008, and graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. My personal literary projects have involved some combination of the two subjects. For the oral section of my comprehensive exams, I specialized in 19th-century novels by and about women. The relationship between “high” and folk literature became the subject of my honors essay, which examined Toni Morriso n’s use of classical, biblical, African, and Afro-American folk tradition in her novel. I plan to work further on this essay, treating Morrison’s other novels and perhaps preparing a paper suitable for publication. In my studies toward a doctoral degree, I hope to examine more closely the relationship between “high” and folk literature. My junior year and private studies of Anglo-Saxon language and literature have encouraged me to consider the divisions between folklore, folk literature, and “high” literatu re. Should I attend your school, I would like to resume my studies of Anglo-Saxon poetry, with special attention to its folk elements. In terms of a career, I see myself teaching literature or writing criticism. Doctoral studies would be valuable to me in several ways. First, your teaching assistantship program would provide me with the practical teaching experience I am eager to acquire. Further, earning a Ph.D. in English and American literature would advance my other two career goals by adding to my skills, both critical and creative, in working with language. Ultimately, however, I see the Ph.D. as an end in itself, as well as a professional stepping stone (垫脚石,跳板,阶梯);I enjoy studying literature for its own sake and would like to continue my studies on the level demanded by the Ph.D. program.。
A letter for Mr. Li Han
Honorific Mr.liHan:
I am very glad to write letter to you, it’s my
honor. I’m writing to extend my sincere gratitude for you.
I have learned in JingHan for nearly 2 years
and I had two home teacher, one is a very kindly and friendly female home teacher, she was a bit plump…
but now she looks better. The other one are you, you are a good guy also you are a brillante teacher. I’ve lots of affairs that is my life can not forget between you and me.
Before the senior high school entrance examination, I had quite a lot of homework be bound to finish, as you know it is straitened circumstances for me to complete it on time. You gave me assistance and taught me patiently, that touched me. I remember once you and me have a little argument which is Whether watching television affec t our communication with my family or not.In my opinion, I don’t think watching TV can destroyed communication among you and your friends .
Watching TV can help you keep up with the world and know things happened around you because you won’t alive in the world yourself. And television is a sort of basic entertainment. Watching TV is better than play computer and lots of things that not good for your healthy. As such, We organized a debate in the school.
Although the examination before you help me think of so many schools, but in the end I didn’t go to those, I also extend my most sincere thanks. 9days ago, I took part in a school summer camp, I think it is a wonderful international school. It has professional English teacher as well as pretty teacher assistance. As far as I am concerned, the most important isn’t school, but school headmaster and Members.
I have a lot of words no time to say, but no time today. So I hope you have good day forever, wishing your business ever successful.
