PEP小学英语五年级下册Unit 5 Look at the monkeysPart A Let’s talk教材分析：本教材是人教版小学英语五年级下册，本单元是第五单元，以现在进行时为题的对话，重点内容是有关动物正在做什么的英语表达。
主要句型是：“What is she / it doing? She / It’s…. What are they / the tigersdoing? They are….”，难点是A、B部分的Read and write和Let’s learn 部分十个动词ing形式的四会掌握。
本单元的动物名称和要求掌握的动词在前五册已经出现过，本册第四单元的教学重点也是现在进行时，可以引导学生温故知新。
因此，本课时的重点和难点是：在理解对话内容的基础上，正确运用一般现在时的第三人称形式。
本课学完之后，要为B部分的复数形式的提问及回答搭建打下基础。
学情分析：五年级的学生对一些常见动物的特征、习性等都有了一些了解，有一定量的语言储备。
通过对第四单元的学习，学生对第一人称和第二人称的现在进行时已熟练掌握。
教师在本课要适时引导，强化学生对第三人称的理解运用。
本单元中所涉及的大型野生动植物园我的学生见过的很少，所以要呈现他们平时所熟知的动物园和大型野生动植物园进行比较，搭建对大型野生动植物园的认知支架。
教学目标:知识目标：能听懂、会说句子：What is she / it doing? She / It’s running....并能在情景中运用。
技能目标：1.学生能够在创设的情景中正确运用所学对话。
2.能够在真实的生活情景中正确、灵活运用功能语句。
情感目标：1.培养学生对他人的关心。
2.培养学生对动物的保护意识。
3.学生能够在看、听、想、说、写中发展多元智能，养成认真倾听的好习惯，并在小组讨论中体验合作竞争所带来的收获与快乐。
教学重、难点：1.教学重点是句型What is she / it doing? She / It’s running….2.教学难点是在真实情景中正确运用所学对话。

Unit5 Look at the monkeys教学目标：语言知识目标：1．学生能够听、说、读、写动词短语的ing形式：flying, jumping, walking, running,swimming.2．能听、说、认读句子：Look at the …! It’s jumping. The tiger is running.并能用句型Look at the …It’s …. 来描述动物正在做的活动。
语言技能目标：能正确描述动物正在做什么。
Look at the …. It’s …The …is …情感态度目标：培养学生热爱动物，热爱大自然的良好品质。
注重新旧知识的融会贯通，加强小组合作与交流。
教学重点和难点：学生能够听说读写本课的动词的ing形式，并用现在进行时进行简单的表达。
教学难点是：running 和swimming的拼写。
教学过程：Ⅰ.
