According to a survey, it is universally admitted that each individual is closely related to and bears obligations to others. Personally, I side with the view that the sense of social responsibility can help us build a more prosperous society. Evidently, several reasons could account for my consideration, among which the following two hold the prominent position. First and foremost, the sense of social responsibility provides each individual with the drive to go forward and become a useful person. A person with a strong sense of social responsibility is naturally urged to leading a meaningful life and promotes the development of the world. Furthermore, the sense of social responsibility is the promise of a harmonious society. Take Jack Ma as an example, who devotes himself into the charity work. It is due to his strong sense of responsibility that he offers to people in need, which is of great benefit for the society. To put it in a nutshell, having a sense of reprehensibility is of great value for the development of every individual and the whole society. Hence, all walks of life are supposed to strengthen their sense of social responsibility. (社区责任篇) The sense of community responsibility plays an important role in our everyday life, which can be found in TV programs, newspapers, university classes and the like. And there is an instructive survey indicating that this is a rather plain truth to bear the social responsibility. For my part, I hold the same point of view. Evidently, several factors could account for my consideration, among which the following two are of utmost importance. To begin with, there is no denying that achieving a goal need people in a community handle difficulties and work together in an efficient way. In addition, during the course of cultivating people’s sense of community responsibility, they can help each other and then enhance the sense of belonging, which will make the community work in a harmonious condition. According to the above analysis, fostering a sense of community responsibility is crucial for each individual. If a person desires to achieve his success, he should act in this way. (家庭责任篇) There is a growing national awareness of the significance of having a sense of family responsibility. And there is an instructive saying that family instability causes social instability. Therefore, I side with the view that the family responsibility should play an important role in dealing with our relationships with family members. Evidently, several factors could account for my consideration, among which the following two are conclusive and decisive. Firstly, a sense of family responsibility can inherently strengthen our desires to take care of our family members whether they are in need or not, which can tremendously reduce the possibility of indifference between family members. Moreover, as a member of a family, we should notice that it was our family that gave us life, raised us up and made us who we are today. In this case, being responsible for our family is undoubtedly a necessary value that should be shared by all of us Chinese and passed down to the next generations. According to the above analysis, the family responsibility is crucial for each individual. If a person desires to achieve his success in a stable and sound family relationship, he should act in this way.

Why should we have a sense of family responsibility in modern society? The reasons, which are obvious to all, can be listed as follows: on the one hand, a sense of family responsibility plays an essential role in personal growth, or put it another way, without it, hardly can any individual be really successful. On the other hand, the difference between a man who succeeds and one who does not mainly lies in the fact whether or not he could own the sense of family responsibility, and a man with that spirit usually could think twice before make any important decisions. 12月四六级考试直播入口→_→猛戳 (一)The Importance of Having a Sense of Social Responsibility It is universally acknowledged that social responsibility is one of the most valuable assets for us. With the current trend of the booming economy becoming necessary and indispensable in this ever-changing modern society, social responsibility is of great significance. As far as I am concerned, there are some factors that we should take into consideration. The best illustration I can come up with here is the experience of such a national hero as Zhan Tianyou with strongly social responsibility who was not deterred by difficulties or ridicules. In order to build railways of our own, Zhan studied diligently and successfully constructed the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railroad. Another case in this point is the story of Bill Gates. He made progress against one of the deadliest disease--infantile paralysis. As a result, more children are survived than ever before in Africa. Therefore, he was respected because of both his prominent achievements and his benevolence. Bill Gates, one of the most respectable entrepreneurs in the world, won his respect by showing his responsibility to the society. From the analysis made above, we may come to a conclusion that social responsibility benefits our life in a profound way. To sum up, I believe what we should do is to take actions toward it! The Importance of Having a Sense of Social/Community/Family Responsibility When it comes to the topic on , we are often told the famous remark that goes like this, “”. (二)The importance of having a sense of family responsibility When it comes to the topic on a sense of family responsibility, we are often told the famous remark that goes like this, “members of a family without a sense of the responsibility are like sailing without a compass”. Simple as the remark may sound, it intends to tell us that a sense of family responsibility works essentially in our daily life. A sense of family responsibility has been a hot word for a long time, and we cannot emphasize the importance of the family responsibility too much. There are many examples to support this argument. A good case in the point is the story of Madame Curie. Madame Curie is the Nobel Prize winner of the world and a good teacher for her daughter. She was curious about knowledge and calm about success, which provided a good lesson to her daughter Irene. Madame Curie is in possession of the responsibility of educating her daughter. It is the responsibility of Madame Curie that helped Irene win her own Nobel Prize. Taking what has been discussed into consideration, it’s indisputable that a sense of responsibility is the source of a happy family. A sense of family responsibility must be attached great importance to, as it contributes tremendously to the harmony of our family. All we need is to seek to shoulder the family responsibility with our utmost efforts to make our family function smoothly. The Importance of Having a Sense of Community Responsibility With the process of urbanization, more and more choose to live in neighborhoods rather than original houses. These flats allow us to live together. However, few of us have ever stopped to think about the significance of owning a sense of community responsibility, which is essential to our social life. People lacking sense of community responsibility are making their communities terrible. It is not uncommon that some people occupy public resources of their communities in an unreasonable way, say, discarding their rubbish casually in bushes and dancing with loud music in the squares. As a result, groans are always floating in the air of these communities. On the other hand, it should be remembered that helping others in our community will eventually benefit us. Nowadays, individuals tend to communicate with others on social media. However, if we are stuck in emergency, our online friends, even though they are real friends, have no capability for helping us rapidly. If we help others in our communities before, they are more likely to help us so that we can get out of danger in time. In conclusion, we are supposed to have a strong sense of community responsibility, which not only provides a harmonious atmosphere but benefits us when we are in need.

(4)Limiting the Buying of Cars or Not?1. Limiting tbe Buying of Cars or Not?Beijing has placed strict restriction on the number of newly purchased car in the city and the policy bas sparked heated discussion. Some people support the policy, saying it,s a powerful method to cope with the severe trafficcongestion in the capital. With cars increasing drasticallyin the past few years, severe traffic jams occur not only in rush hours but at any time of the day now.Others, however, aie strongly against the limitations. They argue that the great number of official cars, which are frequently used, is a big factor causing traffic congestion. But the policy mainly aims at private cars and has no dear restrictions on the use of official cars. Besides, car purchase limitation would hinder the development of China's automobile industry, and more people would lose their jobs as a result.Personally, I think the restriction of buying and use of cars, official cars incladed, is inevitable and just a matter of time for Beijing. If the number of cars is not limited, there will be a huge disaster for the environment, roadresources, the travel demands of normal people and the improvement of living standards.。

Ans\ver the questions by markingthe con esponding letter on Answer Sheet 2Why More Farmers Are Switching to Grass-Fed Meat and Diary[A] Though he didn't come from a fanning family, from a yomig age Tiin Joseph was fascinated by the ideaof living off the land. Reading magazines like The Stockman Grass Fanner and Graze, he got hooked on the idea of grass-fed agriculture. The idea that all energy and wealth comes from the sun really intrigued him. He thought the shorter the distance between the sun and the end product, the higher the profit to the farmer.[B] Jose ph wanted to put this theory to the test. In 2009, he and his wife Laura launched Maple HillCreamery, an organic, all grass-fed yogurt company in northern New York. He quickly learned what the market has demonstrated: Demand for grass- fed products currently exceeds supply. Grass-fed beef is enjoying a 25-30% annual growth rate. Sales of grass-fed yogurt and kefir(发酵乳饮品),on the other hand, have in the last year increased by over 38%. This is com parison with a drop of just under 1% in the total yogurt and kefir market, according to natural and organic market research company SPINS. Joseph's top priority became getting his hands on enough grass-fed milk to keep customers satisfied» since his own 64-cow herd wasiTt going to suffice.[C] His first partnership was with Paul and Phyllis Ainburgh, owners of the Dharma Lea farm in New York. The A inburghs, too, were true believers in grass-fed. In addition to supplying milk from their own 85-head herd、they began to help other farmers in the area convert from conventional to certified organic and grass-fed in order to enter the Maple Hill supply chain. Since 2010, the couple has helped 125 small dairy farms convert to grass-fed, with more than 80% of those farms coming on board during the last two years.|D] AH this conversion has helped Mdple Hill grow 40-50% every year since it began. with no end in sight. Jospeh has learned that a fanner has to have a certain mindset to successfully convert. But convincing open-minded dairy people is actually not that hard, when you look at the economics. Grass-fed milk can fetch up to 2.5 times the price of conventional milk. Another factor is the squeeze that conventional dairy farmers have felt as the price of grain they feed their cows has gone up, tightening their p rofit margins. By rep lacing expensive grain feed with regenerative management practices, grass-fed farmers are insulated from jumps in the price of feed. These practices include grazing animals on grasses grown from the pastureland's natural seed bank, and fertilized by the cow$' own fertilizer.|E] Champions of this type of regenerative grazing also point to its animal welfare, climate and healthbenefits: Grass-fed animals live longer out of confinement. Grazing herds stimulate inicrohial(微生物的)activity in the soil, helping to capture water and separate carbon. And grass-fed dairy and meat have been shown to be higher in certain nutrients and healthy fats.|F| In the grass-fed system, fanners are also not subject to the wildly fluctuating milk prices of the international commodity market. The unpredictability of global demand and the lag-time it takes to add more cows to a herd to meet demand can result in events like the recent cheese surplus. Going grass-fed is a safe refuge, a way for family-scale farms to stay viable. Usually a fanner will get to the point where financially, what they're doing is not working. That's when they call Maple Hill.If the farm is well managed and has enough land, and the desire to convert is sincere, a relationship can begin. Through regular regional educational meetings, a large annual meeting, individual farm visits and thousands of phone calls, the A inburghs p ass on the principles of p asture management.Maple Hill signs a contract pledging to buy the former's milk at a guaranteed base price, plus quality premiums and incentives for higher protein, butter-fat and other solids.[G]While Maple HilPs conversion program is imusually hands-on and comprehensive, it's just one of agrowing number of businesses committed to slowly changing the way America farms. Jose ph calls sharing his knowledge network through peer-to- peer learning a core piece of the company's culture. Last summer, Massachusetts grass-fed beef advocate John Smith launched Big Picture Beef, a network of small grass-fed beef farms in New England and New York that is prejected to bring to market 2,500 head of cattle from 125 producers this year. Early indications are that Smith will have no shortage of farm members. Since he began to informally announce the network at fanning conferences and on social media, he^s received a steady stream of inquiries from interested farmers.(H] Smith says he'll provide services ranging from formal seminars to on-farm workshops on hoiistic(整体的)management, to one-on-one hand-holding and an almost 24Z7 phone hotline for farmers who are converting. In exchange, he guarantees an above-market price for each animal and a calf-to-customer electronic ear tag ID system like that used in the European Union.[I]Though advocates portray grass-fed products as a win-win situation for alL they do have downsides.Price, for one. is an issue, Jose ph says his p roducts are p riced 10- 20% above organic versions, but depending on the p roduct chosen, com pared to non-organic conventional yogurt, consumers could pay a preiniuin of 30-50% or more for grass-fed. As for the meat. Smith says his grass-fed hamburger will be priced 20-25% over the conventional alternative. But a look at the prices on online grocer Fresh Direct suggests a grass-fed premium of anywhere from 35-60%,[J] And not every farmer has the option of going grass-fed. For both beef and dairy preduction, it requires, at least in the beginning, more pastureland. Grass-fed beef preduction tends to be more labor-intensive as well. But Smith counters that if you factor in the hidden cost of government corn subsidies, environment degradation, and decreased human health and animal welfare, grass-fed is the more cost- effective model. ''Tlie sun provides the lowest cost of production and the cheapest meat J he says.[K] Another grass-fed booster spurring farmers to convert is EPIC, which makes ineat- based protein bars.Founders Taylor Collins and his wife. Katie Forrest, used to be endurance athletes; now they're advocates of gi'ass-fed meat. Soon after launching EPIC’S most successful product-the Bison Bacon Cranberry Bar-CoIIins and Forrest fbiind they'd exhausted their sources for bison(北美野牛)raised exclusively on pasture. When they started researching the supply chain, they learned that only 2-3% of all bison is actually grass-fed. The rest is feed-lot confined and fed grain and corn. But after General Mills bought EPIC in 2016, CoHins and Forrest suddenly had the resources they neededto exp and their supply chain. So the company teamed up with Wisconsin-based rancher Northstar Bison. EPIC fronted the money for the purchase of $2.5 million worth of young bison that will be raised according to its grass-fed proto cols, with a guaranteed pu rchase p rice. The message to young people who might not otherwise be able to afford to break into the business is, “You can purchase this $3 million piece of land here, because Pni guaranteeing you today youUl have 1,000 bison on it? We^re bringing new blood into the old, conventional fanning ecosystem, which is really cool to see?* Collins explains. One problem with grass-fed products is that they are usually more expensive than conventional ones.Grass-fed products have proved to be healthier and more nutritious. When Tim Jose ph started his business, he found grass-fed p roducts fell short of demand.A snack bar producer discovered that the supply of purely grass-fed bison meatwas scarce.Section CDirections: There are 2 passages in this section. Parents are being asked for thousands of pounds. Thougli schools caimot profit from these trips, the companies that arrange them do. Meanwhile, pupils arrive at school hungry because their families caift afford breakfast. Tlie Child Poverty Action Group says nine out of 30 iii e^'ery classroom fall below the powrty line. The discrepancy is startlingly apparent. Introducing a fUndraisiiig requirement for students does not help, as better-ofif children can tap up richer aunts and neighbours.Probiiig the rock pools of a local beach or practising French on a language exchange can fire children's passions, boost their skills and open their eyes to life's possibilities. Educational outings help bnglit but disadvantaged students to get better scores inA-level tests. In this globalised age, there is a good case for international and some parents say they can manage the cost of a school trip abroad more easily than a family holiday. Even iu the face of immense and mounting financial pressures, some schools have shown remarkable determination and ingenuity iii ensuring that all their pxipils are able to take up opportunities that may be truly life-chaiigiiig. They should be applauded. Methods such as whole-school fundraising, with the proceedsQi攵益)pooled, can help to extend opportunities andfiiel community spirit. But £3,000 ti'ips caimot be justified when the average income for families with children is just over£30,000. Such initiatives close doors for many pupils. Some p arents pull their children out of school because of expeiish'e field trips. Even parents who can see that a trip is little more than a party or celebration may well feel guilt that their cliild is left behind-Tlie Department for Education's guidance says schools can charge only for board and lodging if the trip is part of the syllabus, and that students receiving go^'emment aid are exempt from these costs. However, many schools seem to ignore the advice; and it does not cover the kind of glamorous, exotic trips, which are becoming increasingly conunoii. Schools cannot be expected to bring together coninixinities single-handed. But the least we should expect is that they do not fbster dh'isions and exclude those who are already disadvantaged.46.What does the author say best schools should do?A)Prepare students to both challenge and change the divided unequal society.B)Protect students from social pressures and enable them to face the world-C)Moth ate students to develop their physical as well as intellectual abilities.D)Encourage students to be ambitious and help them to achiew their goals.47.Wliat does the author think about school field trips?A)Tliey enable students from different backgrounds to mix with each other.B)They widen the gap between prh ileged and disadvantaged students.C)Tliey gh'e the disadvantaged students a chance to see the world.D)Tliey only benefit students with rich relatives and neighbours.48.Wliat does the author suggest can help build coninixmity spirit?A)Ewnts aiming to improve community sen ices.B)Activities that help to fiiel students' ingenuity.C)Ewnts that require mutual understanding.D)Activities invoking all students on campus.49.What do we leani about low-income parents regarding school field ti'ips?A)Tliey want their childieii to paiticipate even though they don't see imich benefit.B)They don't want their kids to participate but find it hard to keep them from going.C)They don't want their kids to miss any chance to broaden theii' horizons despite the cost.D)They want their children to experience adventures but they don't want them to run risks.5O.What is the author's expectation of schools?A)Bringing a community together with ingenuity.B)Resolving the existing discrepancies iii society.C)Avoiding creating new gaps among students.D)Giving poor students preferential treatment.Passage TwoQuestions 51 to 55 are based on the following passage*Rising temperatures and OYerfishing in the p/Tsf初e(未受辛亏染的)waters around the Antarctic could see king penguin populatioiis pushed to the brink of extinction by the eiid of the century, according to a new study. The study's report states that as global wanning transforms the environment in the world's last great wilderness, 70 percent of king penguins could either disappear or be forced to find new breeding grounds.Co-author Celiiie Le Bohec, from the Unh^ersity of Strasbourg in France, warned: "If there h e no actions aimed at halting or controlling global warming, and the pace of the current human-iiiduced changes such as climate change and o^'ei'fishing stays the same, the species may soon disappear." Tlie findings come amid growing concern o^ er the future of the Antarctic. Earlier this month a separate study found that a combination of climate change aiid industrial fishing is threatening the /rr,〃(磷虾)population in Antarctic waters, with a potentially disastrous impact on whales, seals and penguins. But today's report is the starkest warning yet of the potentially dezstating impact of climate change and human exploitation on the Antarctic's delicate ecosystems.Le Bohec said: "Unless current greeiiliouse gas emissions drop, 70 percent of king penguins- 1.1 million breeding pairs-will be forced to relocate their breeding grounds、or face extinction by 2100?'King penguins are the second-largest type of penguin and only breed on specific isolated islands iii the Southern Ocean where there is no ice cover and easy access to the sea. As the ocean wanns, a body of water called the Antarctic Polar Front-an upward nio^'ement of nuhient-rich sea that supports a huge abundance of marine life-is being pushed further south. Tliis means that king penguins, which feed on fish and ki'ill in this body of water, have to travel fiuther to their feeding grounds, leaving their hungry chicks for longer And as this distance between their breeding grounds and their food glows, entire colonies could be wiped out.Le Boliec said: "The plight of the king penguin should sen'e as a warning about the future of entire marine environment in the Antarctic. Penguins, like other seabirds and marine nianinials, occupy highei' le\ els in the food chain and they are what we call bio-indicators of their ecosystems?' Penguins are sensitive indicators of changes in marine ecosystems. As such, they are key species for understanding and predicting impacts of global change on Antarctic aiid sub-Antarctic marine ecosystems. The report fbiuid that although some king penguins may be able to relocate to new breeding grounds closer to their retreating food souig suitable new habitats would be scarce. Only a handfill of islands iii the Southern Ocean are suitable for sustaining large breeding colonies.51 ・ What will happen by 2100, according to a new study?A)King penguins iii the Antarctic will be on the verge of dying out.B)Sea water will rise to a much higher level around the Antarctic.C)Tlie melting ice cover will destroy the great Antarctic wilderness.D)Tlie pristine waters around the Antarctic will disappear forever.52.What do we leani from the findings of a separate study?A)Shrinking krill population and rising temperatiwes could force Antarctic whales to migrate.B)Human activities have accelerated climate change in the Antarctic region in recent years.C)Industrial fisliing and climate change could be fatal to certain Antarctic species.D)Krill fisliing in the Antarctic has worsened the pollution of the pristine waters.53.What does the passage say about king penguins?A)Tliey will turn out to be the second-largest species of birds to become extinct.B)Many of them will have to migrate to isolated islands in the Southern Ocean.C)They feed primarily on only a few kinds of kiill iii the Antarctic Polar Front.D)Tlie nijyority of them may haw to find new breeding grounds iii the fUturu.54.What happens when sea levels rise iii the Antarctic?A)Many baby king penguins can't ha\"e food in time.B)Many king penguins could no longer live on krill.C)Whales will invade king penguins' breeding grounds.D)Wliales will have to travel long distances to find food.55.What do we leani about the Southern Ocean?A)Tlie king penguins there are reluctant to leave for new breeding grounds.B)Its consenation is key to the sustainable p ropagation of Antarctic species.C)It is most likely to become the ultimate retieat for species like the king penguin.D)Only a few of its islands can seive as huge breeding grounds for king pengiiiiis.Pai't TV Translation (30 minutes)Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to translate a passage fi-om Chinese into English. 76ii should \viiteyour ansy^er on Au^ver Sheet 2.梅花(plumblossom)位居中国十大名花之首,源于中国南方,已有三千多年的栽培和种植历史。

2019年12月英语六级作文真题解析
※
我们先来看一下第一个自然段,因为叫做文字提纲的作文,对于
这种作文一定开门见山,直奔引出主题,在我们的课堂上我给大家讲
过非常高级的句子,这里是简奥斯汀的句子,叫做It is a truth universally acknowledged that creativity matters in our daily life称之为总来说之。
句型,比如说be beneficial to,还有be conductive to,对什么是
Bringing what has been discussed into a conclusion。
