1. Warming up andLead in本活动的目的在于激活话题，为课文阅读提供引子，导入课文，通过题目谈论并预测文章内容。
激发学生学习兴趣，调动学习积极性。
外研初中英语八年级上Module1 Unit1 教案一、教学目标：1.使70%的学生能认知80%的本课强调的内容。
2.使30%的学生能认知50%的本课强调的内容。
二、学情分析：本班学生虽是本学校八年级总体层次较好的班，从初一升初二的英语成绩来看，9人在100至108分之间，15人不及格，最低分19分。
在摸底了解在及格的学生人数当中，有一半的学生是不敢开口讲英语的，不及格的学生情况更糟，可见该班学生学习英语的能力非常有限。
因为平时英语学习氛围不够，课外少数人自觉学习英语，课内投入不够，如果按照教科书的进度进行常规教学，只有少数学生能行，这就违背了面向全体的初衷，所以在一节课内，听说读写不可能面面俱到，本人在教学这课的时候，突出在词汇积累和词的活用下功夫。
三、重难点：词型和语境训练例如词型：advice 可以分开来练, 学生比较熟的ice，ice 可以组成的单词有：rice , price , nice , twice , mice , advice,和ice不同发音的单词：notice ,office ,police adv- 可以组成的单词有：advice , advise , adventure , advantage , advertise , advertisement语境：advice 是个不可数名词，熟练不可数名词之前的词就和熟练这个不可数名词一样重要。
这类词有：some , any , no , much , a little , a bit of , a lot of , lots of , plenty of , a piece of四、教学过程Step1. 2分钟英语热身用英语1分钟提问题和1分钟回答，如：Hi, good morning. Can you help me? I want some help.
