Unit 5 Whose dog is it ?
Period One
教学目标:
1. 掌握名词性物主代词: his ,hers, theirs, ours, yours, mine .
2. 掌握句型: Whose dog is this ? It’s my dog .=The dog is
mine. 运用句子来表明物品的所属情况。
教学重点:
能准确的读出和写出新的单词。
教学难点:
能理解和运用新单词、句子:Whose dog is it ? It’s your dog ./The
dog is yours . 体会物主代词的用法。
教学准备:录音,图卡
教学过程:
一、复习,导入,出示学习目标:
1. Sing a song : When is your birthday ? ( P71)
2. T: Which season do you like best ? T: When is April Fool’s Day ? T:
When is your birthday , Mike ? T: Whose birthday is in October? S:
Spring. S: It’s on April 1st. S1: My birthday is on August 5th.
二、教学新课(自学质疑)
1. Learn the new words:
(1) his, her, their, our, my ,your (老师板书在黑板上)
T: Read after me :his book, her pen, their dog , our cat,
my book.
S: his book, her pen, their dog, our cat ,my book.
(2)T: Do you have a pet ? S: Yes ./ No.
T: Look at this picture , This is Mike’s dog. This is his dog . The
dog is his .
Use the same way to learn other words : hers , theirs, ours, yours,
mine.
(3).T: Look ! That is my book .
T: Whose book is that ? The book is mine .
S: It’s Amy’s book .
T: The book is hers . (标有下划线的地方可替换其它单词)
(4). Listen to the tape and follow reading.
三、合作探究、展示点拨。
2、点拨、总结:找出两种物主代词的区别。
my pen = mine ---This pen is mine.
her bag = hers ---This bag is hers.
his eraser = his---This eraser is his.
your ruler = yours ---This ruler is yous.
教师把“失物招领”中的物品展示给学生看,请学生寻找这些物品的主人,完成任务。

教学目标:
1.听录音完成 Let’s try 的练习题.
2. 熟练掌握对话及重点句型: The yellow picture is mine .
Are these all ours ? There is picture of Shanghai . Whose is
it ? Whose... are these ?
教学重难点:
1. 能听录音完成相应的练习题。
2. 能熟读对话和灵活的进行句型替换练习,掌握whose 所引导的两种句型。
教学过程:
一、复习,导入,出示学习目标:
1. T: Is this his cat ? T: Is this her bag ?
S: Yes, it is . S: No, it isn’t. ( 板书) S1: It’s mine/
yours/his .
T: Whose book / pen /ruler is that ?
Review sentences :
T: It’s his dog . S: The dog is his .(用上节课的图片)
T: It’s her book. S: The book is hers.
T: It’s their dog . S: The dog is theirs .(…)
二、教学新课(自学质疑)
1. Listen to the tape of Let’s try part and finish
exercises. (老师讲解录音中的重点句子) Step 3: 合作交流 三、合作探究、展示点拨。
1.听Let’s talk录音,并跟读和表演。
2.Pair work. (Ask and find out灵活掌握本节课的句型) S1: Whose
storybooks are these ? S1: Whose book is this ? 小组展示。
3.引导学生小结whose 引导的两种句子。
疑问词whose主要对句子中的形容词性的物主代词或名词性物主代词提问,如:
That is your book .
Whose book is that ?
These boxes are theirs.
Whose boxes are these ?

Period Three
教学目标:
1.掌握五个动词的ing 形式: climbing, eating, playing,
jumping, drinking, sleeping.
2.掌握句型: Fido is sleeping. They are playing with each other.
教学重点:
1.能掌握新单词,并知道如何在单词的后面加上 ing,能用英语表达谁正在做什么 。
2.掌握climbing的读音 。
教具准备:磁带、动词与动词短语卡片。
教学过程:
一、复习,导入,出示学习目标:
1. Review last lesson’s content .
2.T: Whose bag is this ? T: Whose English books are these ?
T: Whose cat is that ?
3. Read Let’s talk part of page
二、教学新课(自学质疑)
1. T: What do you do ? S: I eat banana./ I climb mountains. S1:
It’s mine . S: They are mine . S: It’s Sarah’s ./ It’s hers .
T: Teach and review words: sleep, drink water, climb mountains.
2.T: I do , You guess.(我做你猜)Look at me ,What am I doing ?(老师做睡觉状) S1:睡觉(sleep) T: Sleeping . I am sleeping .
Use the same way to learn the other words: climbing, eating,
playing, jumping, drinking.并板书在黑板上同时将每个单词的原形 也板书在黑板。
Read these words together .
Ask and answer: Are these rabbits eating?No,They are...
三、合作探究、展示点拨。
1. Who is faster? (出示动作图片,学生说出相应的动词ing形式,并拼写出来。)
2. T: eat (jump…) S: eating.(jumping..)
Let’s play .( Make up sentences 用自己制作的卡片合作组句子。)
