课堂导学方案Step 1 复习假如一位同学邀请其他几位同学到他家开party,对方不认识路,就询问路线编对话。
Step 2 情景导入T:Hello, everyone. We all know that people sure change. Do you remember what you were like three years ago?Now, think about my question and then I’ll ask some students to talk about the changes of your appearance, hobbies, personalities and so on.环节说明:通过问题引导学生针对各自的变化来引入新课,从而轻松导入新词used to。
由于话题与学生自身息息相关,会更容易引起学生的学习兴趣。
Step 3 完成教材1a~2c部分教学任务1.带领学生快速完成1a练习。
2.听1b听力,完成1b练习。
3.练习对话(1c),并编自己的对话(用1a的图片)。
4.听录音,完成2a、2b练习。
5.结合1b、2b示例及1a部分信息,让学生分组练习对话,注意运用新知识“used to”。

Some of you often dare not speak in public. You are not confident. What words do you know we can use to describe people? Fill in the blanks in the sentences below with words from the box.
A. Outgoing If you are outgoing, you like to meet and talk to new people.
B. Energetic If you are energetic, you are very active and have a lot of energy.
C. Shy If you are shy, you feel nervous and embarrassed when talking to other people, especially people you do not know.
D. Confident If you are confident, you are sure that you can do something or deal with a situation successfully.
E. Creative If you are creative, you use your imagination or skills to make things. Ask Ss to look at the screen and deal with the task in Activity 1a.Explain the language points in the part.

Step 4 Listening 2a and 2b
Before listening, ask Ss to read the sentences in Activity2a on the screen and try to understand the meaning. Explain the language points in the part.
Read the instructions, check the questions Celia asks. Then ask the students to listen for the first time and find out the questions. And play the recording again, circle the letter of the correct answer to each question .Check the answers with the whole class.
Step 5 Free Talk 2c
Encourage Ss to make conversations using the information in the listening.
Work in pairs .Praise them if they do well.
Step 6 Exercise Show some exercises on the screen. Check their answers.
Step 7 Summary and Homework
Ask the students to write several conversations about one’s personality after class.
