practical tips for conserving energy in the home.
1. Start with Lighting.
One of the easiest and most effective ways to save
energy is by using energy-efficient lighting. LED and
compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) consume much less energy
than traditional incandescent bulbs and last longer too.
Installing dimmer switches can further help as they allow
