本单元要求学会谈论重要发明的历史及用途,然后针对各项发明的用处及特点,发表自己的看法,并说明理由。
话题一直是围绕着历史上和日常生活中的重要发明,通过使用“passive voice”形式的句型,循序渐进地展开讨论。
课本设计的活动情景能够自然地引发学生的好奇心,大家积极地投入到话题讨论中,寓教于乐,容易引起学生的兴趣;同时,它也有利于开阔学生的思路,培养创造精神,展开丰富的想象力,人人都能成为“小发明家”。
学生在第一课时学习了本单元的section a 中的1a至2c部分,基本能听懂、会说本单元要求掌握的部分重要词汇;在图片,相关信息等提示的帮助下,能较好地运用重要句型和掌握主动语态和被动语态及相互转换。
但是本班的学生两极分化比较严重,有一部分学生基础知识不牢固,前面提到的学过的单词和句型就忘得差不多了,特别是对于课文中的语法—主动语态和被动语态,被动语态的一般现在时和一般过去时混为一谈。
所以教师在课堂教学中应面向整体,及时复习相关的知识,包括重要词汇和句型,前后知识的衔接。
同时在设计上要注意活动的多样性,激发他们的兴趣,让每一位学生能得到不同程度的收获。

4.学情分析:我班学生基本是来自农村。
这里的学生天性纯朴,大部分小学都没有学过英语,对英语有着极大的兴趣和好奇心,但由于山村闭塞,知识面非常狭窄,缺少与外界交流,语言表达能力不强,特别是用英语表达对他们来说确实有困难。
但经过两年的英语学习,部分学生已有一定的英语自学能力,教师可利用这部分学生当“火车头”,在新课传授时起到“示范”及“引领”作用。
当然,个别学生可能反应不积极,这有待于老师的进一步引导。

(1). 被动语态表示句子的主语是谓语动词所表示的动作承受者。
(2). 被动语态基本结构:be+及物动词的过去分词(如果是不用物动词,其过去分词应带有相应的
介词)
(3). 被动语态中的be 是助动词,有人称、数和时态的变化。
一般现在时被动语态为:am/is/are+过去分词The house is cleaned by Tom.
一般过去时被动语态为:was/were+过去分词Their watches were repaired yesterday.
一般将来时:will/shall be+v-ed The bridge will be built in two years.
现在进行时:am/is/are being+v-ed The questions are being discussed.
过去进行时was/were +being +v-ed The plane was being repaired last week.
现在完成时have / has +been+v-ed The house has been repaired for a long time.
过去完成时had+been+v-ed She said the letter had been post.
与情态动词连用的被动语态:情态动词+ be + 过去分词

(4). 被动语态中动作的发出者或执行者做介词by的宾语,放在句末,by 表示“由,被”的意思如何理解被动语态?
为取胜更清晰、更深刻地理解被动语态的含义,可以将主动语态和被动语态的句子结构进行比较。
主动语态:主语+ 谓语动词+ 宾语+ 其他成分
被动语态:主语+ be +过去分词+ by +宾语+其他成分
如:Many people speak English.
被动语态English is spoken by many people.
