一、教学内容本堂课的教学内容为人教版新目标《英语》八年级(下)Unit6An old man tried to move the mountains Section A(1a—2a),课型为听说课。
Section A的主题是中国民间神话故事,主题图呈现了女娲补天、后羿射日、唐僧师徒四人西天取经、愚公移山等中国民间四个家喻户晓的民间神话故事。
Section A要求学生能够听懂用英语讲述的这几则故事,并能根据故事的相关内容发表自己的观点和看法,模仿和运用其中的语言;教学重点是让学生学会讲述故事,在讲述过程中恰当使用连词;教学难点是将熟悉的中国民间神话故事内容转换为符合英语表达习惯和思维的语言表达。
本堂课1a—1c的教学主要通过主题图及听力活动导入单元话题。
在1a部分,要求学生熟悉四个神话传说故事的英文名称(Journey to the West,Yu Gong Moves a Mountain,Hou Yi Shoots the Suns and Nu Wa Repairs the Sky);在1b部分,让学生通过听了解愚公移山这一民间传说的英文表达。
在1c部分,要求学生学会使用“How does the story begin? What happened next?Where would they put all the Earth and stone form the mountains?”等特殊疑问句完成简单的语言输出。
到了2a部分,引导学生依据四幅图了解愚公移山的故事发展;本部分的听力材料巩固和补充了1a—1c的语言输入,增加了包含as soon as,but,so finally等连词的故事叙述,使交际语言更丰富、更完整。
二、整体设计思路在教学内容方面,改变传统听说课教学中仅仅以课文内容为目标的做法,重视“以听促读、以听促说”这一教学理念的落实。
