To Be Y ourselfBy Lizzy 0926211209 FriYou can’t choose your family is wealthy or poor; you can’t change your face is beautiful or not; you can’t prevent your relatives leave…In this world,a lot of things are out of control, you can’t change the environment you live in and you must adapt to it, you can’t change others’ thoughts but you could insist yourself. You can’t control the outside world but you can choose to be yourself. The reason why Joanna leaves her family is that she wants to be herself. If you want to be yourself, you must learn how to be independent. Each person is a independent individual, most of time you must solve problems by yourselves rather than rely on others. In this movie, Joanna’s job is to be a housewife, look after child and do housework. She can’t economically independent and her husband think s even if she has a job she can’t enough bring Billy up. Joanna likes the bird in cage and doesn’t want to be stuck any more. Like birds fly in the sky, people also need space to present and prove themselves. If you want to be yourself, you must have your dream. Dream likes the light in dark night. Having a dream means you can find your direction in your life. The process to chase a dream is always full with difficulties. Although not every ship can reach the opposite bank, the process is happy for us. Joanna also has her dream; she is educated and wants to do what she wants. She has to leave her dear Billy because she has no choice. No one belongs to the other one and nobody can force his thoughts on others, everyone has rights to chase his dream.A person without a dream only own his body but soul; although he can see clearly, he is still a blind. Someone has a dream and everything is always hopeful for him; someone has a dream and power always goes along with him. Having a dream is a kind of happiness,If you want to be yourself, the confidence is essential for you. Sometimes people have enough ability to do their work, but they fail at last. The key problem is not their ability but lacking confidence. Joanna starts to suspect herself because she thinks she can’t do well as a mother or wife. She gradually loses confidence in her life and becomes confused what is right. She stays in a depressed situation for such a long time that she can’t stand any more. After she leaves her home, she looks for her dream--- to be a designer. Then she finds what she really wants to do and picks up her confidence again. At this time, Joanna has confidence to face her family and still wants to be a good mother because she loves Billy so much.In this world, only you are your host. You must be independent since nobody can replace you to go the road of life. Try your best to chase your dream in case that you won’t regret in your road. You can be satisfied with your achievement and become more and more confident; maybe your dream can’t come true, your road of life is also meaningful. Therefore, to be yourself and don’t live for others, your life will make sense.。

Kramer vs. Kramer(克莱默夫妇)Part one《Kramer vs. Kramer》is a film, which is Family ethics slice of Columbia film company and in 1979 produced, directed by Robe rt Benton, Dustin Hoffman, Meryl Streep, Justin Henry starring. T he premiere of the film in the United States is in December 1 7,1979.The director---Robert Benton ,a famous American film director, screenwriter, producer. In 1932 September, was born in America Texas. The representative work is "Kramer vs. Kramer", and the film won five Oscar Awards. The film stars Dustin Hoffman as Ted Kramer and Meryl Stree p as Joanna Kramer,Justin Henry as Billy Kramer,Jane Alexander as Margaret Phelps. In this film,Ted and Joanna is a couple who has a very cute son--Billy,and Margaret is their fr iend who helps them kindheartedly. The film started with a mo m watching her sleeping child and looked extreme sad.And w hen Ted comes back home, cannot wait a minute to share a g ood news with Joanna, because Ted has been busied with his work for a long time and ignored his wife’s feelings about life, and Joanna wanted to leave here to find herself again, she left New York for California but nobody knows. At the beginning ofher leaving,Ted and Billy has a terrible life,as time goes by,Bi lly gradually get along well with Ted and they all peacefully adapted each other.18 months later,Joanna came back to New York, planned and wanted to Reclaim custody of Billy, because they two all wanted to stay with Billy,so they started a lawsui t.In court,a fierce battle,a judge give custody of Billy to Joann a, and when she went to pick up the kids, suddenly understo od what is best for Billy, finally she decided to truly leave his s on,precisely love Billy very much.Part two1.Love2.Ambition3.Parent4.HomeAfter Joanna got the custody of Billy, she began to decorate Billy’s room to its original style. She finally realized that Love is not possessive, but let the people choose to love life love. Example:Home is a place sounds could not help but smile.5.TerrificPart threeComment on plots and actorsAfter watching this movie,I was deeply impressed with its plots and the performances acted by the actor Dustin Hoffman and the little boy Justin Henry.Furthermore,it perfectly reflects the present family conflicts which do exist nowadays.Men are used to be considered as the workaholic creature since they are the bread hunter of each family, the same as T ed.He was just such a hard working person that he couldn't realize his family conflicts had been so serious that hiswife--Joanna decided to leave him as well as her beloved son. However, through trial and error,he finally could build a life together with his son Billy.A sentence makes me impressed is”I think it can be a touch job to a man ascribe to that being a good parent,it has to do with constancy, patience, listening, confi dence as well as love. What's more, the stereotypes of our soci ety have forced us to think that man is naturally not a better parent than woman”.We can see from that,Ted had proved that was wrong, and he eventually found that the loving relationship between Billy and him would be unshakable and permanent.Actually speaking, the most victim of the depressive household is the child---Billy,he was confused about his mother's leaving, hurt by the parents' separation, unsatisfied tothe life with his daddy who even had no idea about how to m ake breakfast. In my poor opinion, each family should stick to the constant conversations about something boring, and all the family members should frequently talk to what have happened and what they felt in some period, because it's a be st way to maintain our family relationship.。
