Unit 2 Teams Lesson 4 Class Projects Part 1[教材分析]第4课分2课时讲授,本节课为第1课时,侧重阅读理解。
学生通过阅读文章,获取课程项目的要求,在理解后复述,并谈论自己的看法,说出原因。
在阅读过程中渗透扫读、细读的阅读策略,培养学生预测信息、捕捉关键词、猜测词意、分析信息的技能。
第2课时侧重于语法学习:理解、掌握情态动词can、must、have to的用法。
学生能谈论学校的行为规范,并根据所给提示词制定校规。
[学情分析]任教班级学生的英语程度参差不齐,因此采取小组合作学习模式帮助学困生完成学习任务。
本课生词很多,是个学习难点,而且在学习文章前要求将这些词分成Materials与Objects两大类,通过出示图片帮助学生学习生词、直观感受材料与物品的区别。
情态动词can、can’t的用法在七年级上册第12课China’s Got Talent中已系统学过;七年级下册第2课A Dangerous Job中有些句子涉及了must、have to的用法,因此学生在阅读、理解文章时,不会因为看不懂句子结构影响信息理解,语法的学习在第2课时,本节课的重点是获取信息、复述信息,学生在表达时只要达意即可,精确度放在第2课时。
由于目前学校开展了很多实践课,因此对于文中涉及的这种课程项目的要求,学生有体验和经验,容易理解。

教材分析
本课是北师大版《初中英语》八年级上册教材第2单元的第4课,话题为班级项目规则。
本课的教学设计分为两个课时。
第一课时侧重对重点单词的掌握和课文的理解,学生通过图片展示,理解
“material,object”的意思,为后面的阅读做好铺垫。
学生通过阅读,将科目与四个项目相匹配,并找出理论依据,同时获取有关班级项目规则的细节信息。
