A gift from grandpa说课稿Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! I’m very glad to be here to present my teaching.Today, my topic is a gift from grandpa. The content of my lesson is from English for vocational school Book 1 Unit4.To get a better understanding of my instructional designing, I am going to analyze the lesson from 7 parts: analysis of the teaching material,analysis of the students,the important and difficult points,teaching methods ,learning methods,teaching procedures and blackboard design.Part 1: Analysis of the teaching materialFirstly, I’ll talk about part 1———analysis of the teaching material. It’s a lesson which is concerned about time. Also, the text of this lesson is a story which happened in the author’s daily life .And the story tell us that no matter what to do, just do it on time. Ss are quite familiar with this topic and anxious to share their experience or ideas with their classmates. So this will be beneficial to today’s teaching and learning.According to the new standard curriculum, the teaching aims are the following:1、knowledge aims(1)Knowledge aims are to enable the students to master new words、phrases and sentence patterns(2)The Ss can understand the content of the lesson, and cherish time.2、Abilities aimsAbilities aims are to develop the Ss’ abilities of listening、speaking、reading and writing. They can use words and phrases which they learn from this lesson to talk about something in their daily. Also we train the Ss’ability of working in groups.3、Emotion aimsEmotion aims are to get the Ss to cherish time and be punctual in their daily life.Part 2: Analysis of the studentsAs we all know , Our students have studied English for at least 5 years and they have grasped a certain amount of English knowledge. They can cooperate with their classmates to finish a task. On the other hand, Ss' ability of using English is limited; their abstract thinking is not fully developed. Therefore, all of these shall be taken into consideration into today's teaching.Part 3: The important and difficult pointsBased on the requirement of the syllabus and the students' characteristics, the important and difficult points are to develop the Ss’reading ability and master the usage of language points.Part 4:Teaching methodsIn order to achieve the aims mentioned above, I decide to choose “Communicative Approach”、“ Task—based Teaching Method” and “SituationalTeaching Method” as the main teaching methods.Part 5:Learning methodsThe learning methods of this lesson are group work 、individual work and discussion.Part 6: Teaching proceduresNow ,I will talk about the most important part—teaching procedures. There are _5_steps in this part.Step1 Warming-upIn this step, I’ll ask the Ss to guess a riddle.In this way, Ss will pay their attention to our class easily.Step 2 Lead-inI’ll show them some pictures and ask them several questions, let them to tell us what time what it is.Step3 Fast and further readingIn order to improve the Ss’ability of reading, I designed 4 tasks in this steps.Task 1: Ss should read the material fast to find out the main idea for each paragraph.板书:Para1:The author’s father ask him to meet his grandpa and he promised he would get the airport on time.Para2: The author was two hours late , and he couldn’t find his grandpa.Para3: The author’s grandpa gave the author a watch as a gift.Para4: The watch tells the author no matter what to do, just do it on time.Task 2: Finish the reading comprehension exercise.板书:Question1:what did the author’s father asked him to do?Question2:Why was the author for meeting his grandpa, was his grandpa angry ?Question3: How did his grandpa get home?Task 3: guide the Ss to read the material carefully and take some important language points, then communicate with each other. Such as some important phrases、sentence patterns.板书:phrases:on time look forward to leave forIn great joy too… to…be busy withSentence patterns: No matter what to do , just do it on time.Task—based Teaching Method is used here ,Ss can understand the given material better by using different reading skills. And their abilities of communication and cooperation will be well improved.Step4: PracticeI’ll divide the whole class into 4 groups to have a competition by retelling the story and tell their own stories about a gift. Then choose a reporter to share their opinions with the whole class. Then, comment them.I think if the Ss can finish this task well, they will benefit a lot in their spoken English.Step 5: homeworkIn order to improve the reading ability of the Ss’ ability of the students. I leave page30 ⅠⅡas homework.Part 7: Blackboard designAfter the teaching procedures, I want to talk about the blackboard design . I write the topic sentence on the blackboard in order to tell the Ss that is of great importance in this class.So much for my teaching plan. Thank you!。
