五、教学流程:
1. Class opening
1. Greet the students;
2. Have a brief review of the previous lesson.
2. New lesson
1. Play the audio recording of the text twice for the students to
listen to;
2. Divide the students into several groups and have them read the
text aloud;
3. Have the students read the text together and pay attention to the
pronunciation and intonation.
3. Grammar
1. Explain the meaning and usage of the following key sentences: • What’s your hobby?
• My hobby is drawing.
• What do you like doing in your free time?
• I like playing basketball.
2. Have the students repeat after the teacher and practice the key
sentences.
4. Exercise
1. Ask the students to write a short paragraph introducing themselves,
highlighting their name, age, hobby, and favorite free time activity;
2. Have them share their writing with the class.
5. Summary
Summarize the key points of this lesson and ask the students to
review the new vocabulary and grammar.
6. Class closing
1. Have a short review of what the students have learned in the
lesson;
2. Distribute exercise papers for homework.
