From Oct 1 to Oct 8, the 2018 Nobel Prize winners were announced in five categories, including prizes for medicine, chemistry, physics, peace and economics (经济学). One of the most amazing Nobel-winning achievements this year was in medicine. James Allison from the United States and Tasuku Honjo in Japan shared the prize, the BBC reported. The Nobel Prize in Physics was given to three scientists who made new discoveries in laser physics (激光物理学). The Nobel Prize in Chemistry was also shared among three scientists for their research on enzymes (酶) and antibodies (抗体).
