今天我要为大家说课的课题来自新目标初中英语八年级下册第五单元阅读文章Do you remember what you were doing?一说教材1 教材内容:本单元主要要求学生运用过去进行时态谈论难忘的事情。
本阅读为该单元的长篇阅读文章,这篇短文主要叙述了历史上一些重大事件发生的时间,地点以及事件发生时人们在做什么。
通过学习,主要目的是训练和培养学生阅读技巧和对文章层次的梳理能力,并能将所学转化运用到自己的文章表达中(向他人介绍一件难忘的事)。

二说学情1.通过前几课时的学习,学生已经学会了was/were + doing句型来谈论过去正在做的事,理解和谈论自己过去某一时间点正在做的事以及本课中大部分动词短语,词汇部分有一定基础。

2)学会使用“what were you doing when the rainstorm came”这一句型来询问别人过去正在进行的事。
