Ⅰ.指导思想与理论依据
本单元的教学内容是用一般过去时描述过去发生的事件。
本节课为本单元的第一节课,是单元新授课,同时也是一节听说课。
本节课的授课以培养学生的听说能力、在真实情景中的语言运用能力为指导思想,以语言学习遵循输入引发输出的学习规律为依据,展开教学内容;并通过语言学习和运用的过程,帮助学生积累更加丰富的语言知识,培养学生的语言能力和学习能力,培养学生的交流意识。
Ⅱ.教学背景分析
本节课的学习内容为人教版八年级上第一单元Where did you go on vacation?,根据学生的情况,本课在人教版教材的基础上,进行了听力练习的改编、教学活动设计的拓展和调整。
在本单元开始之前,学生已经学习了两个关于一般过去时的单元(人教版七年级下册最后两个单元),能够基本运用一般过去时进行表达,因此本单元的教学重点不是学习一般过去时的基本结构、用法和动词过去式,而是为学生创设重现、应用一般过去时的情景,进一步巩固和加强学生对一般过去时的掌握和运用能力。
本班共23名学生,学生英语学习基础普遍较好,个别学生尤其突出。
因此,在教学活动设计上,侧重锻炼学生的语言综合运用能力。
Ⅲ.教学目标(含重、难点)
知识与技能目标:
(1)能掌握并运用本单元SectionA的词汇。
(2)能掌握以下句式:
—Where did you go on vacation?
—I went to New York City.
—Did you go with anyone?
—Yes, I went with my family.
(3)能了解并初步运用以下语法:一般过去时态的特殊疑问句、一般疑问句及其回答。
(4)能够运用本课所学,谈论自己过去的一次假期是如何度过的。
过程与方法目标:
通过让学生提前准备自己的旅行照片,并设计评选Best Vacation的活动,创设真
实的场景,激发学生的交流兴趣并进行自然的语言输出;通过由简单对话到复杂对话,再到从对话提取内容进行完整的文段表达的设计,循序渐进地让学生递进式掌握目标语言;再通过教师示范、师生示范等形式,为学生一步步铺垫,自然而然地过渡到介绍自己的照片故事。
情感态度与价值观目标:
让学生学会用一般过去时态进行自我陈述、信息交流,培养学生倾听他人表达的意识,锻炼学生在一定标准下互评的能力;通过谈论自己丰富多彩的假期,培养学生对自然环境的热爱和对人文环境的感知,引导学生珍惜与家人朋友共同出行共度的美好时光,树立学生积极的生活观。
重点:能用一般过去时态进行几轮对话交谈、谈论过去的事件并询问简单细节;能在表达中正确使用常见规则动词和不规则动词的一般过去式形式。
难点:从句子对话到段落表达的挑战,即能够从对话回答中提取出信息,整合成一段完整的文字叙述。
Ⅳ.教学过程设计
1.导入:
课前大屏幕滚动播放学生的旅行照,为本课主题预热,激发学生兴趣;
教师分享寒假旅行的经历,激活学生的假期度假记忆,引出本单元的话题以及本课的目标句型之一:Where did you go on vacation?
2.听力1:
听力内容:五个小伙伴的假期经历。
任务1:将人物与假期活动连线匹配,初步了解每个人物的活动。
任务2:看动画并跟读,进一步理解对话情景和内容,深入了解目标语言,进行目标语言的输入。
3.口语练习1:
互问互答,谈论听力中听到的五个人的假期活动,练习以下句式:
—Where did Tina go on vacation?
—She went to the mountains.
—Did Bob go with anyone?
—Yes, he went with his friends.
4.听力2:
听力内容:三个小伙伴的假期经历及细节。
任务:完成表格,补全信息。
通过听力语言输入句型:
What did you do there?
Who did you go with?
5.口语练习2:运用以下句式谈论听力中的三个小伙伴的旅行细节
—Where did Grace go on vacation?—She went to New York City.
—What did she do there?—She went to Central Park.

6.对话练习:拿出自己的照片,向对方提问旅行经历和细节,为本课最后的情景做铺垫。
整合运用前两轮听说练习中的句式:

7.应用情境:Who has the Best Vacation?
教师用自己的旅行经历示范如何讲述旅行故事,即如何从对话过渡到文段表达;然后分组活动,每个小组拿着自己的旅行照片,分别介绍自己的旅行故事,并从内容和表达两方面互相打分、评选出小组内的最佳故事;最后进行班级展示。
Ⅴ.学习效果评价设计
(1)口语练习1结束后,学生可以运用以下句式:
—Where did Tina go on vacation?—She went to the mountains.
—Did Bob go with anyone?—Yes, he went with his friends.
(2)口语练习2结束后,学生可以在(1)的基础上丰富表达方式,加入运用以下句式:
—What did you do there?—I went to the Central Park.
—Who did you go with?—I went with my mother.
(3)对话练习后,学生可以根据照片,向对方提问旅行经历和细节,运用句式:—Where did you go on vacation?—I went to …
—What did you do there?—I …
—Who did you go with?—I went with …
—Did you go anywhere/ go with anyone/do anything interesting/buy anything? —Yes, I did.
(4)应用情境活动结束后,每个小组内的学生均可在展示自己旅行照片的同时,向他人描述自己的旅行。
Ⅵ.教学设计特色说明与教学反思
教学目标清晰,教学设计各个环节紧扣目标。
(2)教学设计过程科学合理,层层递进,步步铺垫。
(3)注重学生的口语表达练习,给学生创造多次机会进行两人对话、个人陈述以及小组活动。
(4)较好地运用了情境教学的思路,为学生创设真实的语言应用机会,锻炼了学生的语言能力、沟通能力以及自我表达能力。
(5)能够根据学情进行教学设计。
教学设计有梯度,既有基础句型的反复操练,又有发散性的拔高和拓展,给学生充分的发挥空间和展示机会,让不同基础的学生有话可说、有所收获、有所提高。
