一、教学内容分析
本节课是听说课,话题是“谈论友善的重要性”。听力文本介绍了什么是 “Pay It

二、语篇分析
【What】
听力内容是受访嘉宾Kevin作为主讲人介绍了“paying it forward”活动的概念,借助于一首歌曲背后的故事及生活中的一个真实故事阐述“paying it forward”的灵感来源。歌曲“The Chain of Love”中的故事梗概为一位男士帮助了一位汽车抛锚的陌生女士,该女士想要给他酬劳,男士拒绝了酬金,但要求女士把这份善意施予其他的陌生人。该女士来到一家咖啡馆,看到女服务员怀孕且很辛苦。该女士付账离开时把找的零钱留给了服务员,同时留下便条希望女服务员继续将爱心传递下去。故事的结尾具有戏剧性,咖啡馆的女服务员是修理抛锚汽车的男士的妻子。另一个故事是有关买咖啡的故事,一位女士为后面顾客预先支付了咖啡的费用,后一个顾客继续为下一个顾客预先支付咖啡费用,这样的一个爱心链持续了好几个小时,多达400人加入了这个爱心链。这样的故事在我们的实际生活之中真实发生着,温暖和震撼着自己和他人,因此我们所有人都可以加入到“paying it forward”活动之中,用我们的爱心照亮他人。

This is the fourth teaching period of this unit. As usual, the teacher will first get the students
to review what they learned in the last period, and then lead in the new lesson.
The emphasis of this period is placed on developing students’ listening ability. The purpose
of the listening text on Page 38 in the Textbook is to explain more of the issues in South African
politics. The students need to know why people were so unhappy that they were prepared to
struggle in order to bring about positive changes. Remember to tell the students that it does not
matter if they do not understand every word. The important thing is to understand the main
information. For that purpose the exercises test literal comprehension. First, let the students guess
the listening text may be about. Play the tape for the first time for students to listen and decide

Turn to page 37 and read these sentences before listening to the tape. Then listen

Read more about Freddy’s life and translate it into Chinese paragraph by paragraph.
2. Reading and underlining
Next you are to read and underline all the useful expressions or
collocations in the passage. Copy them to your notebook after class as homework.
