二、课程任务目标
（一）课程任务
本课程是贸易经济专业的专业基础课。通过本课程的学习，可以使学生熟悉商务领域中各类外贸书信、电传、电报，掌握商务领域中的外贸英语术语、缩略语、惯用句型和表达方法，同时也可使学生系统地掌握英文函电的格式、专业词语、行文方法及文体特点。提高学生在商务外贸业务活动中正确地使用英语的能力，从而提高对外进行各项业务联系和通讯活动的能力。
（二）课程目标
在学完本课程之后，学生能够：
1.了解国际贸易实务的流程、贸易术语等基本理论； 熟悉国际贸易中的英语术语和表达方法；
2.掌握商务外贸英语中函电的格式、专业词汇、行文方法与文本特点，并掌握对外经济贸易成功的经营策略与谈判技巧；
3.熟练掌握外经贸的基本知识并加以运用。
