(1)信头 the letter head 包括企业的名称、地址、电话号码、电报挂号、电

传地址等,一般都是十分得体地印刷在信笺的上端中央位置。信头的内容也可根据

各自政府的规定或自身业务的需要而有所增减。

(2)日期 the date 通常打在信件开头下方约3—4行距处,日期拼写时不要

以数字代替,以免混淆。

(3)封内名称地址 the inside name and address 外文业务信件要求有封内名

称地址是为了归档和处理方便,这与中文信件完全不同,我们必须充分注意。

封内名称地址,比日期落下三行。

(4)称呼 the salutation 这是业务信的开场白,通常用单数或用复数词称呼对方。在外文信件中独占一行,位置在封内地址下方三个行距。称呼结束处一般用逗号,在Gentlemen后常用冒号。

(5)信的正文或信件的主体 the body of the letter 业务信函往往强调一事一信,这样可避免耽误,便于对方答复。如果有必要把不同的问题在同一封信中提出,最好加上标签,并分清段落。在格式上做到:

段落分明、拼法正确无误、打字清洗清晰整洁,位置安排恰当。

(6)结尾敬语 the plimentary close 第一个字母必须大写,自成一行,后面用逗号隔开。结尾敬语必须与正文连在一起,不能单列一页。
