雅思口语考试结构
第一部分Self Introduction (2-3分钟)
内容：衣食住行、兴趣爱好
测试重点：简单语法、基础词汇和一定的流利程度
例如：
●Are you a student or are you working?
●What’s your major / What do you do for a living?
●Do you like your major/work?
作答时注意讲问题‘合并’，形成有逻辑的一段话
I’m working in New O riental, teaching IELTS speaking. I like my job very much ,because I enjoy talking to other people, sharing my experience with other people. In fact, if I had the chance, I would suggest some of my friends to try it out, it is really fascinating.
考官不一定会问出例子中给出的所有问题，每一个问题都是上一个问题的逻辑性延伸，所以在平时练习的时候要注意自己大脑中根据第一个问题反映出后面的后续问题，将3个（或多个）问题的内容融合在一起，这样能够在考场上作答时更好的体现出自己的逻辑性。
第二个问题‘What’s your major / What do you do for a living? ’的内容其实是对第一个问题所进行的‘间接回答’（Indirect Answer），同样，第三个问题‘Do you like your major/work?’也是对第二个问题的‘间接回答’。能够将高官想要问的后续问题在开头的问题就进行回答，就是一种掌握主动的表现，同时能够给考官留下足够的‘印象分’。
第二部分Cue Card Descrption (2-3分钟)
内容：人物、地点、物品、经历
测试重点：较难的语法（句式），较大的词汇量和更流利的表达
1分钟准备时间：利用好这宝贵的1分钟，进行构思和搭建框架，帮助自己在接下来的2分钟内回答的既流利，又有逻辑性

WHI系统是对整个第二部分话题的一个结构性总结，任何一个话题的提示问题都是不会脱
离这个框架，熟练掌握这个框架，不仅在平时的准备中有针对性，有系统性。在考试的时候，也提供了一种逻辑顺序和思路。
每一类话题的WHI框架中的三个部分的比重不同，三部分内在的逻辑关系也有差别，所以掌握WHI还是要根据不同类型的话题进行区分，逐个把握，否则容易出现盲目使用这个框架，而回答的时候没有重点，甚至出现跑题的情况。
（*具体的每一类话题的WHI的特点，会在后面的课程中出现）
第三部分Extended Questions (5分钟)
内容：第二部分的跟进问题、对热点话题的深度讨论
测试重点：很强的逻辑思维和语言组织能力（连贯性）和对热点的话题的个人观点
第三部分的重点在于逻辑性，体现语言逻辑性最直接的方式就是通过关联词，所以关联词的掌握和运用显得极为关键
例如：although….. however….. unless….. as I mentioned before.. what’s more…
last but not least… even if …in other words / in another word …in contrast to ….
每一类关联词所起到的‘衔接’作用是不同的，有的表转折，有的表递进，在不同内容之间正确使用最恰当的关联词，才能成功表达自己想要表达的内容和语气。
同样需要注意的是，由于第三部分的主要回答内容是自己的观点和评价，所以‘批判性’就显得非常重要，平时练习的时候注意在思考问题的时候从不同角度（主要是正反两个角度）去思考。一定注意在提到不同观点的时候要分清主次，如果表达的含糊不清，那么在逻辑性上是失败的。
雅思口语考试四大采分点
Pronounciation –发音
发音主要体现在两个方面，标准和地道。这方面的练习很容易，多听，多模仿，多跟读
如课堂上所说的road 不要读成‘肉的’地道的发音则体现在‘连音’和‘吞音’上，例如As a matter of fact，这句话中matter 和of 之间以及of 和fact 之间都存在连音，而fact 的‘t’不发音，则是‘吞音’的表现。做好前者，发音就已经过关，能够做好后者，则是锦上添花，会给自己的分数带来明显的提高。
Grammar –语法
雅思口语考试当中的语法主要体现在‘时态’和‘关联词’上
例如My name was..? I am born in …..?He is a ….. Person / Old people tend to ..这四句话当中，前两句明显就是时态出现了问题，造成了歧义或者是犯了低级错误，而后面两句则是正
确的‘时态’运用。
关联词在’Extended Question’部分已经进行了概括，重点就在于，它是对逻辑的最直接的体现，直接影响到句式和我们所要表达的语气，这需要平时大量的积累和反复练习，才能做到运用自如。
Fluency 流利
能够做到流利，最重要的就是我们要对自己要说的内容非常熟悉，死记硬背的范文和自己准备的故事相比起来，在流利程度上一定会有很大的区别，所以WHI结构就是对流利程度的最大的保障，我们将平时发生的事情，定期，按照四大类话题的WHI进行整理和储备，那么在考试的时候，就很容易的做到滔滔不绝的说出自己的故事，而且回答内容是和题目紧密相关的，不会出现跑题的状况。
V ocabulary 词汇
词汇是四大采分点中最难的一个部分，同时也是最直观的部分。不仅体现在难以程度上，还体现在了确切度上。

从左到右的单词，逐渐变难，但是如果就形容’impact’（影响）来说，只有以下单词适用

A Library
I’d like to talk about a s mall library in Liverpool Street, London. It is a 24-hour neighbourhood library, almost everyone can go there at any time. It comprises nearly all kinds of books: fictions, English literature,scientific documents, tourist guides, you name it. It’s an old, greyish green building, only two storeys high. Local friends told me it used to be the courthouse of that area. I lived only 3 blocks away, about 5 mintues walk, and because my school library was 15 tube-stations away, this small neighbourhood library was the only place that I could get my hands on late at night, and back then, I stayed up for the seemingly unlimited amount of work almost everyday. I have to say I love this library, it saved me qutie a few times when I had to rush through some last minute work at night, and I couldn't find the materials anywhere else. Of course, there were also times when I couldn't find what I need here either, but then I would just live with it. (I mean) Who can I blame, it was a small neighbourhood library, not a professional financial documents archive. What I like most about this library is that it has a couple of printers that works 24-7 , so I could finish my work at night, get them printed out before going to bed without having to worry about breaking my head for the only two printers at school in the next morning.

A Place with a Lot of Water
I’d like to talk about Morecamb, a smalll town by the coast of Atlantic Ocean in northern England, 25 miles, or 20 mintues drive from Lancaster where I went to university a few years ago, Since it is part of the lake district, a well-known holiday resort for people from all over Europe, tourists make up the majority of the population there. Many people go there for the delicious fish and chips , a typical British food, what makes it special in Morecamb is the Atlantic cod, juicy , fresh and smooth as silk. Others go for the bridges all over the town, where you can enjoy the
magnificent view of the howling atlantic ocean without putting yourself into any kind of danger, whats more, the small canals running through the town provided a natural market for the fisherman and the tourists. My personal favourite was the beach, most of the time, I just stood there trying to feel the cool breeze coming off the atlantic ocean and the sand under my feet. I love the waves in morecamb, and the smell of sea water that comes with them. It made me feel stronger when I was standing there, looking at the waves that kept pounding on the beach without ever stopping, I somehow felt that I found the strengh to keep going, to overcome whatever obstacles that I was facing. It finally became a habit for me to go there every weekend. Well of course, I would n’t have known this place if my best friend didnt live there, so even now, I still thank him for once bringing this lovely beach into my life.

I’d like to talk about my cousin. He’s my age, just two years younger, and he graduated from xx university last summer. His outgoing and cheerful personality, together with his good looking , has got him loads of friends, boys and girls. Boredom will be the last thing you need to worry about when he’s around, he seems to know an unlimted amount of jokes, and tells them in different occasions. He was so popular in his college that 2 years ago during the sports meeting, his classmates signed him up for every single event on the track & field without even telling him.
Oh, he was so exhausted that day. I know him so well because we meet every weekend eversince college. We play football together twice every week, Wednesday and Sunday, we go to the same fitness club, and we are in the same book club, yes, we both love Hitchcock, one of the greatest mind when it comes to suspense novels. We have so many things in common, so I really enjoyed hanging around with him, so much fun, so many laughters, and I always talk to him about bad things that happened, because he understands me so well, he’s more like my best friend. By the way , our favourite rock band is coming downtown next month, we are definitely going to the concert together.

I’d like to talk about a visit by my friend when I w as in England. It was 3 years ago, during chinese new year. I got in touch with an old friend from Singapore, we havn’t met each other for almost 4 years, and it was by sheer luck that I ran into him on the street one day on my way to school, so I decided to invite him over for chinese new year, a very special occasion for chinese, especially when you were overseas by yourself. He came early on that day, we spent the entire morning chatting, catching up with each other, and I was excited by the fact that even after so many years, we both still remember the funny things that we did back in singapore. We were members of the school football team back then, both very naughty, caused quite of a headache for our coach, there was once we hid our captain’s shorts in the locker before match, he had to take a cab(taxi) home and get another one, we were punished, of course, when the coach found out after the match. He was also member of the choir and the chess club, afterall, he was such a versatile young boy. After lunch, he suggested that we play chinese chess, I wasn't a very good player, but it felt fantastic playing a traditional chinese board game on our traditional festival. Late in the afternoon, we started making dumplings, a typical way of celebration in the chinese new year. Although, eventually, we ended up having chinese delivery for dinner, because we were such horrible cooks, it didn't stop us from enjoying the process, (I mean) The whole point of making dumplings was to create an environment , to make it feel like home. It was a very meaningful and emotional experience, to be able to spent chinese new year with an old friend in a foreign country, it is not something you can do everyday.

注意WHI三部分的穿插，比如A Person who has Visited your Home一题中impact是穿插在和客人做的事情中间，并不是整体的对发生的事情进行的感叹，而整段话的是按照时间顺序进行的。所以在这里要注意，WHI的最终目的是提供框架，只是在思路不够清晰的时候才充当逻辑顺序的引导，大家如果想拿高分，想将‘故事’描述的更加流利和自然，建议大家根据不同的话题，按照自己习惯的顺序进行描述。（这样，‘印象分’也会很高）
