07年雅思写作走势复习策略与重点题目
第一部分：题目规律与重点总结
首先，从题目上来说，2006年的雅思主流写作体裁为优劣类（34%）、同意（32%）与不同意类及讨论类（18%），其它类别分摊了其余的16%（因果类、解决方法类、综合类等）。其次，从内容上来说，2006年度的主考内容为社会类（50%）与文化教育类（31%），往年的高频题材科技类与家庭类在今年则明显处于下风。众所周知的是，2006年是雅思的改革之年，它意味着新一轮测试周期的开始。从上面的变化我们可以看到，雅思主考单位（UCLES、BC以及IDP）将其写作测试目标放到了与公众生活最为密切的社会话题以及与留学生最为密切的文化教育类上来了，这与雅思改革“贴近实用”的目标是相符合的。在2007年当中，出题特征仍然会围绕着这个目标。因此，社会类与文化类下的三类主流体裁必然是大家的复习要点。基于此分析，展望2007，如下的作文题目应该作为主要的练习重点：

第二部分：难度略升与复习策略
回顾2006年的作文题目，我们可以发现作文题目的难度有了一定幅度的提升，其中难度分为两个方面，题目理解难度与题目写作难度，如下两例：
Today, the advanced science and technology have made great changes to people's life, but artists such as musicians, painters and writers are still highly valued. What can arts tell us about life that science and technology cannot？（2006-1-21 A类）
Which family mode is more suitable for educating children, nuclear family or extended one? （2006-4-8 G类）Shopping, as a pastime, has taken the places of some traditional ones. What cause the happening of this situation? And present its advantages and disadvantages? （2006-5-17G类）
上面的两篇作文虽不能代表全部的作文难度，但作文整体考试的组成部分也从一个侧面反映了2006年的题目走势。
基于这样一种情况，我们暂且从题目理解难度与题目写作难度两个方面来制定2007年的写作复习对策。
首先，从题目理解难度来看。所谓的题目理解困难可以归结为三个方面的问题：1. 词汇的不理解2. 内容的不理解。作文首先从词汇角度来说，很多同学就在2006-1-21的A类作文中的arts这个词上犯了难，这里究竟应该是理解为艺术还是文科呢？2006-4-8G类作文中的nuclear family（小家庭）和extended family（大家庭）又作何解呢？而2006-5-17G 类作文中的pastime(消遣)又为何物？因此，同学们为了在以后的临场应试中避免遇到词汇理解方面的问题，那么就应该在日常多多阅读各类的作文题目。在明白了词汇之后，有些同学还是无法理解题目，这是为什么呢？这是因为大家在这个方面的知识是空白的。比如小家庭和大家庭是两个什么概念呢？只有通过日常的学习，大家才能理解所谓的小家庭就是不隔代的由两辈人组成的家庭（“草屋单见妻烹水，亭前稚儿捻苇帘），而大家庭则是由两辈以上的人组成的家庭（福禄寿喜七星至，耄耋孙小共言欢）。因此，大家平时还要加强各个方面书籍的阅读，只有这样才能够看到一个词就明白它的词义，而且要做到立即构思成篇。
然后，从题目写作难度来看。2007年的题目写作难度与2006年相比，差异不会太大。主要的写作难度仍然是集中在两个方面：破题与布局、证明与结构。
首先，从破题与布局方面来看。当然，现在有很多的同学是不破题的，无论是什么体裁的文章，大家都习惯用一种思路来进行破题，就是一方面，有人认为，另外一方面有人认为，我认为首先，我认为其次，我认为再次，最后，总结来说。这样的一种思维模式已经成为了中国考生的灵魂，另审卷人汗颜的灵魂。在作文题目当中，明明没有说一些人与另一些人，而中国的学生就是基于这样的一种假设展开文章，在开头处便开始脱离轨道了。因此，在2007年的备考当中，大家一定要以题目为中心，实事求是，不要假想。
此外，从证明与结构来看。考试改革后，很多的同学仍然在沿用以往的方式进行作文写作。无论基础如何，大家都对于模板趋之若骛。诚然，对于一些基础不好或者是所需分数较低的同学而言，模板还是有一定借鉴意义的。但是对于基础较好，而且分数要求较高的同学而言，模板就不是一个好的选择了。试想，考官拿到一卷作文，共30篇，每一篇开头都是With the development of our society/ some people think that ,while other people think that
访谈:曹铭伟总结2006雅思写作
无忧雅思：各位网友，下午好，今天北京迎来了今年最大的一场雪，我们的嘉宾北京新航道学校的雅思名师曹铭伟老师冒雪准时来到了我们的聊天室，欢迎曹老师，欢迎各位网友，首先请曹老师和各位网友打个招呼。
曹铭伟：各位同学各位朋友大家好，马上就要迎来新的一年了，首先祝大家新年心想事成，当然我说的是雅思留学的“心事”，祝愿大家在新的一年里都能实现自己的留学梦想！
无忧雅思：回顾今年全年的雅思写作考试，您认为有什么特点呢？和前几年的雅思考试相比，有什么不同呢？
曹铭伟：好，接下来我就回顾一下今年阅读写作考试的情况。从整体来看，阅读和写作都保持了和前几年考试相似的情况，而并没有出现很大的变化。当然从具体的题目、题型上，来说，细微的变化还是有的。
我先说阅读，文章的重复率仍然比较高，稍统计一下的话可以发现有1/3到小一半的文章都是前两年中曾经出现过的，一些重点文章甚至还出现了3次重复，比如“英国儿童缺乏锻炼”。同时比较值得关注的一个现象是06年中新出现的几篇热点文章在一年中就多次重复，比如今年5月第一次出现的“燃料电池”这篇文章，就在7月很快重复出现了；“琥珀与龙涎香”6月第一次出现后也在12月时隔半年后再现了。同时有一些阅读的经典老篇章又在06年中露脸了，比如“育儿观点的改变”、
“伦敦大雾”等。
接着我再分析一下写作的情况。写作的重复当然没有这么频繁和明显。但是根据我统计的06年所有写作真题的情况来看，仍有20个左右的题目是根以往题目相同或者至少是相似、相关的。就比如最后一次的12月16号那个“幸福与经济收入关系”的题目，就与以前考过的“幸福为何困难”以及“经济收入是否能衡量个人成功”的话题基本一样。大家知道北京考点一般每月三次考试，那么十二个月就有36次考试。在30多次考试中有20个左右的题是与以前相同或者相似，这不能不说是一
个非常高的比例了。
无忧雅思：对于明年参加雅思考试的考生，从写作和阅读方面考生应该加强哪些方面的训练？
曹铭伟：既然明白了过去一年中的情况，那么新的一年中该如何准备的问题就迎刃而解了。但是首先我要跟大家说的一点是：心态要保持稳定。最近我经常在课后被同学拦住询问“07年初变题”这样的问题。我想变题的问题要看你怎么理解，具体的题目是一定每次都在改变的，这个不用想都明白。从06年的写作来看，年度内没有出现两个重复的话题。
虽然题目在变，但是题型还是一样的啊。因此文章写法也没有变化。如果要说应对妙着的话，那么我的建议就是扎扎实实去做好自己的准备，特别是要关注以往出现的话题。因为刚才我分析了，虽然具体题目没有在年内重复，但是涉及的话题还是有重复情况的，比如“能源问题”在2月、3月、6月都出现了；“老年人问题”在2月、7月也重复了。
如果要再比较一下前三年中写作所涉及到的话题，那你会发现更多的重复。
所以除了做好自己的写作练习以外，希望大家都去关注雅思常出现的话题，比如政府、教育、文化、环保这些大的方面，我敢保证07年将仍以这些话题为重点。
：老师最近复习雅思作文头脑里一点思路也没有，老师能否预测一下2007年2月3号的作文题会往哪个方向发展哈哈望百忙之中给予回复
曹铭伟：好，接下来我回答一些具体的提问。关于写作思路的问题，我注意到，在这两年已经成为了大多数同学分数提高最大的障碍。
这个问题其实原因比较简单，也很容易解决。原因是因为大家对以刚才我说到的那些话题缺乏了解，一旦遇到出题角度刁钻一些，不是想不出论点就是容易写跑题。这位同学的提问就是属于这样的情况。
具体解决方法，我在这里谈两点建议：
一、大家首先要熟悉雅思命题所经常涉及到的大的话题。这可以通过收集整理以往考题来实现。就读新航道的同学，我们已经在使用的07年新版教材后的附录里，我已经把04到06年度的写作题目都收录了进去；如果不是新航道的同学可以登录无忧雅思论坛或者我的个人博客，里面有同样内容的帖子或者日志。
二、知道什么话题以后希望大家主动去搜索和积累这相关的论点。比如刚才来之前我在Google上实验了一下，输入8月26号考题中的关键词multicultural society就命中了相当多的文章，在命中的文章中我又搜索到了ethnic diversity, multiculturalism等术语。接着再用这些来搜索你就能看到更多的文章。
用这样的方法平常注意积累，常见的问题就那么几个，那么常见的各方观点意见也就是那些说法。这些都看过再去写哪有可能写不满字数呢？所以我轻易不敢写，因为我一写就容易把雅思作文写成3000字的论文。
这个方法分享给07年要考试的同学，因为07年肯定也是考这些话题为主。所以无非就是把那些已经看过写过的观点论据重新包装以后嵌入到答题中去了。
网友：我07年1月20号就要考试了,如果我想练习写作是找最近考过的题目,还是上半年的,还是其它的呢?谢谢。
曹铭伟：准备07年1月考试的同学，大家复习写作我想以下半年中出现的为好。因为下半年中出现的新命题更多，也更具有时代意义。比如刚才我提到的8月26号那个“多元文化好还是单一文化社会好”的问题，非常明显可以看出是在05年伦敦地铁大爆炸所引发的关于英国多元文化的大辩论这个背景之下产生出来的。
所以其实英国考官出题也不是凭空乱想，人之常情肯定是社会热点引发他的思考，更好又是他要出个题目，所以就信手拈来在雅思里考一考。当然我指的是英国的社会热点，中国的问题比如“红楼梦中人海选”当然是不可能出现在雅思里的：）
网友：老师您好，07年1~2月的雅思考试难度上会有怎样的调整，写作方面考流程图的概率大吗？
曹铭伟：大家对于即将进行的07年考试的关注真是大啊~~！好吧，1-2月考试的难度不会与其他月份有太大变化，否则岂不是影响了考试的公平性公正性。写作流程图的概率当然是有的，但不会是必考这样的几率。
这位同学可能有“恐flow chart”症：）但我个人认为，其实流程图比数据图更好些。原因很简单，数据多了，整理的逻辑思路是很能考验一个人的思维的，往往很多人就写成了流水账。
而flow chart只要能看懂，并且把各个阶段中的重点体现出来就搞定了。
所以其实数据图的难度要大于流程图。那么关于数据图我多说一些。其实数据图的写法看题目要求就明白了：官方说了，得写出总体趋势，并且要进行对比。趋势和对比，只要你能写成这两层，一定是6分以上。而Task1大家知道得6还是7对于你写作总分7分是没有影响的。
网友：曹老师，我做剑桥4、5，发现：
1.如果自己仔细定位以及做题，那么时间肯定不够，差不多完整的看完两篇后只有5分钟的时间
2.如果匆忙的根据时间而做题，往往定位又很不准确，又或者定位到了不能很好的解答。
两种却基本保持一样的错题率，大概错15-20个。我07年1月20日就考试了，就此您能给我点建议么？
另外，如果这次没有考好，三个月后再考，您能就阅读再给些建议么？

你说的问题，我想是因为搜索方法的缺陷。你说上过我的语法课，看来是我的错，在语法课上没有跟大家谈到阅读的技巧吧：）
其实对于你的问题，方法很简单。看来你是去生找Key Words，在一篇学术文章中去生找一个词，当然不可能那么迅速。
我的方法是我对文章进行思路分段，比如一篇文章讲了“定义——发展历史——现状——展望”四个层次，那么问到哪个方面我就只看这个层次的两到三段。这样一定就快。但是要有这个能力，你平常就得一定做好精读，只做题肯定是不够的。
另外你说到的定位到了又解答不对，那就是理解方面的硬伤了。这说明你某方面的语言基本功还存在欠缺。这种问题就得来一个灭一个，就地解决。这都是把功夫做到实处的基本功啦：）
网友：自己写的文章在内容上总感觉好像在别人的哪些文章中见到过，请问曹老师，雅思写作如何才能写出新意？
曹铭伟：这个问题提得非常好，也是我最近在思索的问题。某些最新“研究成果”我也已经在课上实验过，从同学的反映来看，大家还挺需要这些指导的。我想新意来自于两个方面：一、观点内容；二、语言表达。先说观点。一般的两到三个观点老生常谈大家都会想到，那你就不要写，或者你写也可以，但是不要把它作为你主要论点来展开，可以作为开头引入或者反面论点出现。这是一个方法。另一个方法就是你对这个话题展开研究，用我刚才说的方法输入题目关键词在网上搜索，然后做一些背景阅读，这样能帮你写出一些很有深度、思想性、时代感的精彩观点。而且如果你是搜索英文文章的话那写作表达的问题也顺手解决了:)再来说语言的新意。这就要求你一要能预测到大多数人会用什么单词什么句法，二要掌握一些更巧妙的表达，用它来体现你的与众不同。考官看到这些一定会觉得很special。其实做到这一点你就成功了。因为优秀这个词在英文里就是outstanding，把这个单词倒过来你就指导了追求优秀的方法，那就是你要使自己的文章能够在一大堆作文中stand
out。
大家如果从这两个方面入手我相信一定能使你的雅思作文分数outstanding~!
网友：曹老师，请您预测２００７年一月份的写作方向．我之前在澳洲１０月份考过，结果碰到流程图的题，根本没有思路．写
作只得了５分．望你予以指教．
曹铭伟：其实写作得5分未必就是流程图导致，流程图的问题我刚才说过了，请你翻阅一下刚才的回答。我想你更大的问题可能还是Task2，因为它的分值更大。
07年一月的Task2可能涉及到的话题仍是教育文化这几个方面，而且我个人感觉——直觉啊，不准不要怪我——文化问题的可能性更大。翻一翻下半年雅思写作，几乎每个题目都与文化有关。原因很简单，一是因为这种题比较能考出一个人的思维深度和逻辑水平；二文化问题却是也是最近社会的热点问题，所以就是雅思官方对于Task2命题的界定：Contemporary issues of common interests.
所以我个人认为这个大方向应该是符合官方的思路的要求的。大家至少可以参考一下吧。
网友：自己做阅读题目的时候总是感觉都读懂了，题目错的却比较多，请问提高雅思阅读能力应该从哪些方面入手？
曹铭伟：自己做阅读“感觉”都读懂了——问题是自己的感觉对不对呢？呵呵。
其实说到阅读能力，我不知道你是指整体的阅读还是具体的雅思阅读解题能力。不管你指哪个，总之我都说一下吧。
要说整体的阅读能力，你得有语言功底去进行词句的破译，还得有把握上下文从中推测的能力，更得具有从全局上把握全文思路结构理清脉络的能力。这些能力大家是否都具有呢？根据我的观察，可能大多数同学的理解还是在最起码
的语言破译，也就是字面的把握上，这就是导致你说的问题的一个原因。因为只掌握字面九不得不时时刻刻去看那些单词，这第一慢，第二相当吃力。
再说做题能力。做题能力除了语言功底和整体阅读能力还得包括对试题思路的准确把握。有可能有些同学不知道题目思路和特点导致浪费时间，虽然最终也解出来了，但是效率很低。最典型的就是List of Headings。
所以其实我觉得你得分析自己的问题。当然如果自己不具备这样的能力那还可以来新航道找我们老师咨询。
网友：如何使写作达到6分呀（短期之内），考了三次5分，急！
曹铭伟：5分的同学你一定是语言方面出了太多的错误导致。短期内要解决这个问题有一个建议：保守的方法，不要冒险那些没把握的句子。
当然这得在你文章结构清晰，论点明确有针对性的基础上。所以你的问题，一是要去消灭语言错误控制在合理的范围内，坚决保证不出句子结构问题大错；二是要保证自己思路清晰，同时希望你去熟悉命题，积累写作论点论据。
网友：我想咨询一下老师:我是第一次报名雅思考试,时间是07年2月10号的.平时做题我的错误在15-20个左右.现在离考试还有1个月的时间,我该怎么准备阅读才可以达到7分呢?能不能给下预测,看什么部分的机经会对考试有帮助?谢谢
曹铭伟：想得阅读7分的同学，你必须要切实去提高你的阅读实力，才有根本的保证。除了单词语法之外，一定要去仔细阅读你做过的每一篇文章，解决每个遇到的实际问题。两个月的时间还挺充裕的，希望你能做到。
另外预测的问题，我不想没根据地猜测，但是请你关注06年中出现的新文章，特别是那些没有重复过的。

雅思作文中最好避免的句子
大概说下自己的情况.我IELTS也是考了N次,虽然最终过了,但是过得很勉强.所以决定在正式的MASTER上课前先读2个月的语言.目前已经上了2个星期的课,总体来说还是颇有些收获的.这2周内已经写了2篇IELTS作文,语言课程的老师从我们的ESSAY中挑出了一堆毛病.把错误之处一一讲解给我们.个人觉得很有用,编辑出来给大家,希望大家能够从中受益.
1. a lot of/lots of
这对词组一般不要出现在academic essay中,考官已经看烦了.可以用A considerable number of代替
2. Everything has two sides/every coin has tow sides
说了跟没说一样,明显的事实,以后也不要用了
3. Recently
这个词不好.按照他们的说法就是too imprecise,没有一个具体的时间.可以用In the last 5 years…/since….代替
4. There is survey……
老师是这么说的:has there been?/only say this if you actually know of one 也就是说考官知道这些都是你编的,最好不要用了
5. And, because, but
这三个词我们还是经常会用到.其实最好用in addition, therefore, however等代替
6. 不能用vivid 来形容world vivid可以用来说memories或者是dream之类的
7. No one can deny that…/Undoubtedly
这2个词组太绝对了,用来开头并不合适. 其实每个人都能持与你意见相反的态度
8. in a word
很多人会用它来做conclusion. 鬼佬的意见是:如果你准备用这个词组来引出你的观点,那你最好用一个词来概括,谁让你是这么写的呢
9. Meanwhile don’t use in general academic w riting or for task 2—but it is ok for describing a process in task 1
10. Nowadays
理由和3差不多, 这个词用在文章里显得太普通了, 老师的原话是it does not mean very much
11. It is a well known fact…最好不要用, 有的考官会扣分
12. advantages and disadvantages 换成merits and drawback 和pros and cons
13. In my opinion, I dis/agree with this
这是多余的表达. When stating your opinion you follow with a fact 相信大家都能看懂,就不翻译了
14. IELTS文章中千万不能用缩写, 例如I’m 在考场上别犯懒,平时最好也别写缩写,多多注意,养成习惯
15. very不能用来形容delicious, lovely, fantastic, wonderful, amazing, gorgeous and huge.
16. human being MS这个词指的是动物+植物, 以后可以用man kind代替
阅读理解里做题，做到只要出现极端词汇的题，99。************************9％都是错的——相信无论是应试还是别个老师一定说过这句话。

首先是文章的组织结构。思维方式的差异，外国人的文章我们会发现，都是简单明了，一般是让你看了它的第一段就知道，他要说什么，甚至就知道了文章的组织结构。实际上我觉得文章的组织结构是很重要的，要在文章的组织结构下点功夫。
其次，就是一些连词的使用。通常我们的中文写作是没有这样的连词的使用的，但是在英文写作中，连词就变得很重要。如果不能合理的使用连词，有的人甚至没有使用，那就大大的糟糕了。因为通过连词，别人能发现你要做什么比如说furthermore, 那么别人就知道你要进一步的说明。如果是however 那么别人就知道你要转折了。这些连词在读文章的时候也是很重要的，引人注目的地方。
还有就是句式的结构，只要不出大的错误叫好。

如果是discussion, 就是说你要说两方面，要是写成这样的文章比较难，因为时间不够，两方面阐述比较累，但是要是有的题目不这样写不行，那么通常的结构是：第一段定义以后要学双方面存在的优点和缺点，我给的我的文章的advertising 就是那样的（那篇文章我抄用了不少我认为不错的句子），然后就是整体的outline 分别有双方面的理由。然后的以后的段落，基本上是先说你的最后不同意的观点，1段,2段,3段然后是你比较倾向的观点4,5,6 自己比较倾向的观点写的多些。最后一段要总结全文，对比双方面，然后给出自己的观点，这点比较重要，就是说虽然是议论文，你还是要有自己的观点的。
写第二份文章，要快，要很快得想出要写的1 2 3 点理由，一般上我觉得argument 比较好写，两方面论证比较繁。想不出来怎么办？就是要想到什么些什么，因为考核英语是靠是的主要目的，不是智力测验。花不到10 分钟来想怎么写，什么结构然后就下笔。一般是时间刚刚够，如果第一部分写的快，第二部分的时间就多一些，就更从容些。
