My Wonderful Vacation

Last Sunday,I went to Qingdao with my parents.We went there by train.I loved it at once as soon as I went into the city.The weather there was fine and cool.We went to the beautiful beaches.We had great fun playing in the water.For dinner,we ate a lot of seafood and they are my favourite.There were many big shops in Qingdao.We went shopping and bought nice gifts for my friends.For example,two key rings and a model dolphin.Everything there is very wonderful.I had a great time in Qingdao.

Why not?在课本中用来询问原因,有时表示一种不可理解的心情。例:—I didn't go to Mary's birthday party last night.我昨晚没去玛丽的生日聚会。—Why not?为什么没去呢?

【拓展】Why not?的其他用法:

①用来表示赞同,意为“好的,为什么不可以呢?”例:—What about going to the cinema

this afternoon?下午去看电影怎么样?—Why not?好的。

②表示建议或命令,常构成“Why not do sth.?”句式,意为“何不做某事呢?”相当于Why don't you do sth.?

(2)My legs were so tired that I wanted to stop.

本句包含so...that...(如此……以至于……)结构,so后接形容词或副词原级,that引导结果状语从句。它可以与too...to结构进行同义句转换。

6.学以致用。(同义句转换,一空一词)
