教学设计及反思Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show?Section A 1 (1a-1c)一、教材分析本教材是人教版教材八年级英语第五单元,本单元以“Do you want to watch a game show?”为话题展开教学活动,首先让学生学会各种电视节目的英文表达,再让学生学会怎样用英语表达对不同电视节目以及事物的喜、恶。
通过用学生们熟悉的电视节目提高学生们学习兴趣,在通过简单的口语练习,使学生积极参与,合作,从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
本单元这一课时,安排了关于部分电视节目类型的单词,以及简单的表述喜、恶的句子,为以后能正确表达自己的情感作出了准备。
二、教学目标知识目标学会soap opera, sitcom, talk show, sports show , game show ,don’t mind , can’t stand等新词汇和句型“What do you think of…?”能力目标①学会陈述自己的看法和意见。
②学会谈论自己的喜好。
情感目标学会客观地评价事物;正确表达自己的意见三、教学重、难点学习及掌握表达喜好和电视节目类型的词汇和基本句型。
正确运用What do you think of …? 及I like/love/don’t like/can’t stand…等句型结构来表达对客观事物的评价。
四、学法、教法以学生的发展为本,以学生为中心,采用多样化的学习方式,让学生自主学习,研究学习,探究学习,合作学习。

教材分析:本单元以“Do you want to watch a game show?”为话题展开教学活动,
让学生学会对不同的电视节目表达喜好。七年级简单地学习过用like或是don’t
like表达喜好,这次将继续升华谈论喜好这一日常交际话题,涉及到了更多的表
达法,为以后能更准确地表达情感作出了准备。
教学内容分析:本单元将分为5个课时完成教学,本课为本单元的第一课时,
主要是通过学习新词汇及句型,听说训练等方式掌握简单表达对电视节目的喜
好,做出适当评论。
教学目标:A.语言目标:部分电视节目名称(talent show, talk show, game show,
sports show, soap opera, sitcom, news), 表达喜好程度的词(love, like, don't mind,
don't like, can't stand), 询问喜好的句型(How do you like…? What do you think
of…?)
B.能力目标:学会用所学句型询问及表达对电视节目的喜好。
C.情感目标:知道选择合适的电视节目观看,能够控制看电视的时间。
教学重难点:掌握所学词汇及句型,并学会询问和评论电视节目。
教学过程设计:1. Free talk. 通过简单轻松的问题引出本单元的学习要点。设置
的问题为①.What do you usually do on weekends?(学生会提到看电视,引入下一
个问题) ②. How often do you watch TV? ③. Do you like watching TV?(引出下面
看电视选频道的环节)
2. New words learning. 引出选频道后让学生在观看电视播出的图像时感知电视
节目的种类,学习七个电视节目的名称,同时自己对每个节目进行简单的评论,
并询问学生们对这些节目的看法。这样就在教授新词的同时也渗透了新的句型,
让学生在不知不觉中学会表达对这些电视节目的喜好。
3. 新词学会后插入情感教育,告诉他们看电视的好处与坏处,让孩子们知道控
制时间,同时也能很好地衔接接下来的环节。
4. 1a&1b. 通过1a,1b检测学生对新词的掌握程度,加深印象。
5. Pair work. 和搭档一起训练询问及表达对本课提到的7种电视节目的喜好,不
需要涉及到过多的句式,只需用刚刚学会的词句简单地表达,学生比较有表达
的欲望,同时也能及时发现问题。
6. Listening(2a&2b). 2a的听力比较简单,2b的填空则稍难,有的空需要填好几
个单词,而且听力为两个女生的声音,学生们很容易混淆,于是听前预测环节
很重要,可以通过2a的内容对节目进行简单地分析,并预测空格内可能需要的
单词类型,从而降低听力难度。
7. Guessing game. 给出一些常见节目的中英文名称,先让他们进行配对,然后对
每个节目进行归类,一方面学习了课外知识,让他们在今后对各个节目的英文
名称更感兴趣,另一方面也可以检测出他们是否真的了解各类节目的区别,为
下面的活动做好了充分的铺垫。
8. Group work. 让他们先对所给的节目单上的电视节目进行描述,说出喜好并说
明理由。然后再进行小组活动,询问其他组员对各个节目的看法,最后选择一
个或两个节目来一起观看。这个活动主要是为了通过任务型教学巩固新词新句,
锻炼他们的听说能力。
9. Summary. 总结本课的重点词汇及句型,帮助他们了解知识的掌握程度。
10. Homework. 提出练习要求,让他们能将课堂所学运用到实际生活。
