My Amazing May Holiday Trip to Chongqing!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to tell you all about the super

cool trip I took to Chongqing during the May 1st holiday this

year. My mom, dad, and little brother went too, and we had the

best time exploring this amazing city. Let me tell you all about it!

We left Beijing on April 30th and took the high-speed train

to Chongqing. The train ride took around 8 hours, but it went by

really fast because I had my Nintendo Switch to play games on.

When we finally arrived in Chongqing, I could hardly believe how

different it looked from Beijing! The city is built along these crazy

steep hills and has rivers and bridges everywhere you look. It's

known as the "Mountain City"!

significant festival in China that celebrates the upcoming new year.It is a

time for families to gather, enjoy delicious food, and exchange

gifts.However, the origin of this festival dates back to ancient times,

rooted in a fascinating legend.

According to the legend, there was once a fierce beast called Nian

that would terrorize villages during the winter season.It would attack

livestock and villagers, causing widespread panic and destruction.To

protect their communities, the villagers developed a plan.They decided

to dress up in colorful costumes, make loud noises, and set off fireworks

to scare away the Nian beast.

This tradition continues today during the Little Year
