不同模数的齿轮要用不同的刀具来加工制造。

为了便于设计和加工，模数数值已标准化，其数值如表10.1.2-2所示。

标准直齿圆柱齿轮各部分的尺寸与模数有一定的关系，计算公式如表10.1.2-3。
