Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay commenting on Albert
Einstein’s remark “I have no special talents, but I am only passionately curious. ” You can give
one example or two to illustrate your point of view. You should write at least 150 words but no
more than 200 words.
例文:
As Einstein put it, I have no special talents ,but I am only passionately
curious. It reveals that curiosity is also indispensable in our way to personal
success.Human’s knowledge is limited, but not if it is related to curiosity.
As you can see from our daily life, curiosity is just like an impetus that forces
you to go forward and find out the answer of your doubts.Meanwhile, your won’t
take your failures too seriously,or rather, any hard time.Take Newton for instance,
there’s nohting more ordinary than the falling of an apple, but not for Newton. And
the great curiosity of Newton leaded to his insisting on finding the reason, who
subsequently put forward the principple of gravitation after a long and tough
exploration.Afterwards,Newton was made president of the Royal Society because of
his glorious contribution to science.
Generally speaking, everyone can’t avoid being curious about the strange
things outside the world, but most of the curiosities are forgotten by us with the time
going by.So just keep the feeling once it comes into being, and then find what you
want to know in high gear.Perhaps, you’re the next Newton.Who knows?
