3. 能读懂“Read and write”中的比较级。

4. 能根据阅读部分完成相应的选择和填空练习。

教学重点：故事内容的理解。

教学难点：比较级的听、说、认、读。

课时安排：1

教学过程：

Step 1 ：Warm-up

(1)取出Part A 和 Part B 中“ Let ’s learn” 部分的单词卡片，同学之间运用单词卡片上的形容词比较级进行Free talk.可以用“How tall/old/heavy

are you? What size are your shoes ?”来引出对话，进而运用 younger，older，taler，shorter，heavier，thinner，bigger，smaller等词语来描述身高、年龄、体重以及鞋码的差异。

(2)播放本单元歌曲“My small cat”，然后分组比赛。

Step 2 ： Presentation

(1)完成图片选择。观察图片，理解题意，完成 简单的图片选择。

(2)组织学生阅读Wu Yifan给Robin讲的故事，学生先做一个快速阅读，能理解故事大意。

(3)组织学生进行第二遍精读短文，并能找出以下问题的答案：

A. What ’ s the Little Duck ’ s question?

B. How does the Old Tree answer the Little Duck about the question?

C. What’s your answer about the question?
