一、培养目标 Ⅰ.Educational Objectives 培养适应社会主义现代化建设需要,德、智、体、美全面发展,具备城市规划理论知识,掌握城市规划专业技能,了解城市规划相关知识的高级专门人才。 This program is designed to meet the needs of specialist in urban planning, in addition it aims to develop a sound understanding of principles of the discipline.

二、基本规格要求 Ⅱ.Skills Profile 1.按照教育“面向现代化,面向世界,面向未来”的要求,学生接受通识教育,打下较坚实的自然科学与人文科学基础,具有良好的思想道德素质、文化素质和身心素质。 2.系统学习学科基础课程,掌握扎实的学科专业基本理论和基本技能,拓展城市社会、经济、文化、生态及城市管理与法规等相关领域知识。 3.条块结合,合理安排与组织专业课程及实践性教学环节,毕业生能从事城市规划、设计、管理和研究工作,并具备参与区域规划、土地利用规划、交通与市政工程规划、风景园林与景观规划以及社会经济发展规划等相关规划工作的能力。 The program provides students with the opportunity to: 1. Gain solid grounding in both natural sciences and humanities & arts; 2. Study fundamental courses which develops competence in the subject, extend knowledge in the relating fields such as society, economy, culture, environment of the city and urban management as well as laws and regulations; 3. Develop a career in urban planning, design, management and research and abilities to conduct district planning, land utilization planning, traffic and municipal engineering planning, scenic garden and landscape planning.

三、培养特色 Ⅲ.Program Features 依据《全国高等学校城市规划专业本科(五年制)教育培养方案》,形成宽口径、厚基础的培养模式。在建立完美课程体系的前提下,立足教育、教学全过程,灵活进行课程组合,理论、知识、设计、实践等教学环节相互穿插,有机组合,由浅入深,逐渐推进。面向社会经济和城市需要,结合工程实践强化实践环节,提高综合素质。适应学科发展和社会需求,加强学生动手能力、社会适应能力与创新能力培养。 According to“The education and cultivation scheme of the undergraduate(five years )for urban planning specialty in Chinese colleges and universities”,we are trying to form the specialty education model of wide scope and firm foundation. Establishing perfect course system,wecombine mutually the courses of urban planning theory, knowledge, urban design and project practice. Fromeasy to difficult, we arrange the teaching courses. Furthermore, wecompose them reasonably and advance the cultivation . . . . . . . program gradually. Fitting for the need of society, economy and urban construction, we link some design courses with engineering projects to strengthen the practicing teaching, and raise the synthetical diathesis of students. According to the requirement of society and the development of urban planning subject,we raise the student's ability in operating and theiradaptability to further jobs.
