小妇人英语的读后感1Before I read this book, I had watched a cartoon movie made by Japan. So I have a strong interest on it.It all begins in the dead of winter; The Christmas Season. The coldest one of all, were the war has made fuel for heating very scarce. While her husband is off at war, Marmee is left alone to raise their four daughters: Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy.On Christmas Eve, Marmee has just arrived home from passing out food to the less fortunate with a letter from her husband, the girls father. The all gather together around the fire to read the letter. Afterwards, the girls are teary eyed. Marmee kisses them and they are off to bed.Jo is longing to become a writer. So, every night she stays up late writing the script for soap operas. As morning comes she is the last one awake. The table is set, and food prepared for their Christmas feast. As dusk falls, the girls are all up in the attic acting out Jos play, which she reads from the local (fake) newspaper. As they are performing, their rich, next-door neighbors grandson watches from the window. The 2 oldest girls: Jo and Meg, get ready to attend the Christmas Ball. While Jo is curling Megs hair, there is a strange smell to the air. Amy screams, Megs hair is being singed. Theycontinue digging through the old clothes bin for a pair of white gloves. One of the prominent themes in Little Women is the coming of age or maturation of the girls. During the course of the novel we see them grow in many ways -- physically, intellectually, and especially emotionally. One question which readers must ask themselves is whether the views the characters have on the coming of age process are shared by Alcott. If they arent, what are Alcotts views and how do they differ from those of the women in her story? It is interesting to examine the last half of Chapter 20, "Confidential." Jo addresses the maturation issue as she speaks with Marmee of the situation between Meg and Mr. Brooke. The possible love between these two represents one of the very important aspects in coming of age for a teenage girl. Jo treats this natural process as if it were some sort of disease, however. Jo cannot understand why Meg would want to stop behaving "like a sensible creature" (p.202),and refers to love as "such nonsense."小妇人英语的读后感2Little woman" is an autobiography novel properties with the family, the author is American Alcott. This book was written in four different character marches through their own kind of girl, hardworking and found myself happy story. The story concerns the lives and loves of four sisters growing up during the American Civil War. It was based on Alcotts own experiences as a child in Concord, Massachusetts with her three sisters, Anna, May, and Elizabeth. Little Women is the story of The Marches, a family used to hard toil and suffering. Although Father March is away with the union armies, the sisters Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth keep in high spirits with their mother, affectionately named Marmee. Their friendly gift of a Christmas holiday breakfast to a neighbouring family is an act of generosity rewarded with wealthy Mr. Laurences gift of a surprise Christmas feast. However, despite their efforts to be good, the girls show faults: the pretty Meg becomes discontented with the children she teaches; boyish Jo loses her temper regularly; while the golden-haired schoolgirl Amy is inclined towards affectation. However, Beth, who keeps the house is always kind and gentle. After certain happy times winning over the Laurences, dark times arrive as Marmee finds out about her husbands illness. Worse is to come as Beth contracts scarlet fever in her Samaritan efforts for a sick neighbour and becomes more or lean invalid. It has become a much loved classic tale and, while some of its issues seem outdated, many of the trials of the sisters are all too relevant today as evidenced by its continued following.。
A Book report of Little WomenTitle: Little WomenAuthor: Louisa May AlcottPublishing house: Wordsworth Editions LtdPublication date: 1993-08-01Number of page: 464Brief introduction:Little Women is one of the best-loved youngster’s stories of all time, based on the author's own youthful experiences. It describes the family life of the four March sisters living in a small New England community。
Meg, the eldest, is pretty and caring, loves wealth and wishes to be a noble lady; Jo, at fifteen is ungainly and unconventional with an ambition to be an author; Beth is a delicate child of thirteen with a taste for music and Amy is a beauty of twelve who is a little bit selfish but has a passion for art. In spite of the family’s poor circumstance, the four sisters have positive and optimistic attitudes towards anything. Home is the place of growth as well as the sacred shelter for them. They will listen carefully to their mother's teachings; will use their hands, fantastic brain to inventinnovative and soul-grooming games one after another. It is the happiest thing to live forever with who love them and are loved by them in their eyes. The story consists of their domestic adventures, their attempts to increase the family income, their friendship with the neighboring Lawrence family, and their later love affairs remaining as fresh and beguiling as ever. The growing process of the four sisters is like a lovely verse of education.Louisa Alcott demonstrated their strong optimism, their personality and perseverance without flowery or sterile languages. Also revealed to us are the great love and friendship.Impression:The whole book is simple and natural. It reads more like family diary full of love ——the simplest love in common life. The love of friend, family and respect are here and there in our life but frequently neglected. Little women does make us resume these love. It tells us how to have a heart likely to experience and treat love and to become more tough and independent for the love. From the four sisters I have learned to be firm, not to be a complainer while not to be satisfied with all. Everyday of my life should bring me fresh hopes for tomorrow. Everyday of my pursuit for dream should be full of endeavor. Also I have realized that I ought to carefully findeveryone’s advantages instead of seeing only negative aspects through our colored spectacles. And it is high time to doubly cherish what we have own before knowing its value by death.Having read the book from cover to cover, you may find Meg or Jo or Beth or Amy has stepped into your heart and left the confidence for you to go through rainy days in your life as they did. And what the author wanted to share with the readers through the things the characters had done and the words they had said make the book time-honored.。
《小妇人》英语读后感"Little Women" is a timeless classic that has touched the hearts of readers for over a century. Written by Louisa May Alcott, this novel tells the story of four sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, and their journey through adolescence into adulthood during the American Civil War. As a reader, I was captivated by the memorable characters, the strong themes of family, love, and sacrifice, and the vivid imagery that Alcott weaves throughout the pages. One of the things that stood out to me about this novel was the depth of character development that Alcott achieved. Each sister is unique and complex, with her own strengths and flaws. Meg, the oldest sister, longs for the stability and security of marriage, while Jo, the second oldest, is a fiery and independent writer who dreams of making a difference in the world. Beth, the quiet and gentle sister, finds solace in music and caring for others, while Amy, the youngest, strives for beauty and elegance in everything she does. However, the real heart of this novel lies in the theme of family. The March sisters are not perfect, but they are fiercely loyal to one another and their love for each other only grows stronger as they face challenges and hardships together. It was moving to read about the ways in which they supported each other through illness, separation, and financial struggle, and how their bonds with each other remained unbreakable as they each pursued their own individual paths in life.Another key theme of "Little Women" is sacrifice. The sisters make countless sacrifices throughout the novel - from Meg givingup her dream of a lavish wedding to Jo taking a job she despises to support the family - all in the name of love and loyalty. These acts of selflessness are a reminder of how much we can achieve through putting others’ needs before our own.The vivid descriptions of life during the Civil War brought this period of history to life in a way that made it feel personal and relatable. Even though the March family is not directly affected by the war, they are surrounded by its consequences and are deeply affected by the loss of loved ones and the struggles of those around them. Alcott’s vivid imagery made it easy to imagine what life was like during this difficult time in America's history. In conclusion, "Little Women" is a beautiful novel that deserves its place as a literary classic. Through its memorable characters, themes of family and sacrifice, and vivid imagery, it holds a timeless appeal that continues to resonate with readers today. As I closed the book, I was left with a sense of appreciation for the simple joys of life, the strength of family bonds, and the importance of selflessness and sacrifice. This is a book that I will surely revisit in the future and one that I would recommend to anyone seeking a heartwarming read that transcends time.As I continued to reflect on the characters and themes of "Little Women," I began to think about the ways in which this novel had impacted generations of readers. It is not hard to see why this book has endured for over a century, with its timeless themes and relatable characters. One of the things that struck me about the March sisters was how much they were able to accomplish despite the limitations placedon them by society at the time. Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy all have their own dreams and aspirations, but they are also aware of the societal expectations placed on them as women. Meg must struggle with her desire for a large family and a beautiful home, knowing that it may not be attainable on the limited income of her husband. Jo is a fiercely independent writer who must battle societal expectations of women as obedient and submissive. Beth dreamsof playing the piano professionally, but is discouraged by her family's inability to afford proper training. Amy, the youngest, yearns for the glamour and luxury of the upper class, but is forced to confront the reality of her family's financial struggles.Despite these hurdles, the March sisters are able to find happiness and fulfillment in their lives through their relationships with each other, their talents and passions, and their willingness to make sacrifices for their loved ones. This message of perseverance and resilience in the face of adversity is one that still resonates with readers today.Another thing that struck me about "Little Women" was how relevant it still feels today. While the world may have changed significantly since the novel was first published in 1868, many of the themes and struggles that the March sisters face are still just as relevant. Women are still faced with societal pressures to conform to certain roles and expectations, and many families still struggle with financial hardship and loss. However, the lessons of this novel are just as timeless as its themes. The importance of family, the value of sacrifice, and the power of resilience are still just as important today as they were over acentury ago. In a world that can often feel fragmented and divided, the message of unity and loyalty that this book espouses is more important than ever.In conclusion, "Little Women" is a timeless classic that continues to touch the hearts of readers of all ages. Through its memorable characters, powerful themes, and vivid imagery, it speaks to the human experience in a way that feels both deeply personal and universal. As I finished the book, I felt a sense of nostalgia for the simpler times that it depicts, but also a sense of hope for the future. This is a book that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a heartwarming and uplifting read, and one that I will cherish for years to come.。
英语版小妇人读后感"Little Women" A Heartwarming Read."Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott is like a warm hug in the form of a book.# Characters that Feel like Family. The four March sisters Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy are so vividly drawn that they feel like real people you might have grown up with. Meg is the eldest, with her dreams of a genteel life and her struggle to balance her desires with the reality of her family's financial situation. I could totallyrelate to her when she was trying on those fancy dresses at the Moffats' party and felt a bit out of her depth. It was like watching a friend make a little misstep in the pursuit of something shiny.Jo, well, she's the kind of girl I wish I could be more like. She's a tomboy with a passion for writing that burns as bright as a bonfire. Her impatience with the traditional female roles of her time made me cheer for her every time she defied convention. Remember when she cut off her hair to sell it? That was such a bold move. It's like she was saying, "I'm not going to be defined by how I look, but by what I can do." And her relationship with Laurie was a rollercoaster. I was rooting for them to get together at first, but then when she turned him down, I was like, "Jo, what are you doing?" But in the end, it all made sense.Beth is the sweetest soul. Her love for music and her quiet, gentle nature made her the heart of the family. When she got sick, it was like a dark cloud hovering over the whole story. I was on the edge of my seat, hoping she would get better. Her death was so sad, but it also showed thestrength of the family bond. They all came together to support each other through that tough time.Amy, the youngest, was a bit of a spoiled brat at first. But as she grew up, she became more self aware and determined. Her trip to Europe with Aunt March was like her coming of age journey. I loved seeing her transformation from a girl who was a bit too focused on material things to a young woman who knew what she wanted in life.# Lessons in Life and Love. The book is full of valuable lessons. One of the things that struck me was how the March family dealt with their poverty. They didn't let it define them or make them bitter. Instead, they found joy in simple things like their little plays at home and the gifts they made for each other. It made me think about how we often focus on what we don't have instead of being grateful for what we do.The relationships in the book are also really interesting. The love between the sisters is so pure and strong. They fight, they make up, and they support each other no matter what. It's a reminder of how important family can be. And the romantic relationships, like Jo and ProfessorBhaer's, were really sweet. It wasn't a typical love at first sight kind of thing. They grew to love each other through mutual respect and shared interests.# A Timeless Classic."Little Women" has a timeless quality. Even though it was written a long time ago, the themes of family, love, growing up, and following your dreams are still relevant today. It's a book that can make you laugh, cry, and feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It's like a comfort food for the soul.Reading it is like spending time with old friends, and I'm sure I'll be coming back to it again and again in the future.。

小妇人英语读后感7篇One of my favorite characters in the “little women“ is Joe. This paper analyzes feminism embodied in Josephine’s view on love in Little Women. In the introduction of the paper, I will talk about the background, literature review and my writing perspective. As for the body part, in Chapter one I will analyze Josephine’s character from many examples in the story; in Chapter two I will give a comprehensive analysis of Josephine’s view on love, which mainly covers the love choice she made and the reasons of the choice; in Chapter three, I will analyze feminism reflected form Josephine, including the aspiration for freedom, the desire for independence, and the worship of true love. In Chapter four, I will discuss the enlightments and limitations of Josephine’s feminism in modern times. At last in the conclusion, I will give a brief summary of this paper.Even if having the small flaws, Little Women is still an undoubtedly great work. It put eyes on women’s growth, fights and efforts to realize the value of life in a patriarchal society. Even in today, it still has realistic values for modern girls to learn. Through the daily lives of March sisters, Louisa drew a vivid picture of the life of temporal American pioneers, especially Jo. She impressed us by her goodness, honesty, insistence…and her precipitancy, rebellion… She’s like a close friend to us, and as well an inner spirit of us.In order to get closer to this work, I’ve talked about the social background at that time, Louisa’s family history, literature review and the definition of feminism; and then to figure out the reasons of Jo’s choice, I’ve analyzed Jo’s personality, the process of Jo’s choice and the reasons of it, so I not only had a clearer impression of Jo, but also got a deeper understanding of her choice; at last in order to learn the feminist spirits from Jo, I discussed some extraordinary feminist qualities of Jo and got some constructive tips and suggestions about feminism for all the girls. After finishing this work which is definitely a masterpiece in history, I’ve learned the importance of freedom, both physicallyand spiritually, without it, I think I even can’t live well; and also I’ve known the value of independence, there’s no one can accompany and help me forever, so being independent can make me live better and feed myself just on my own; last but not the least, I’ve also been reminded with the preciousness of true love which makes people truly happy from the bottom from the hearts.Reading Little Women can be an enjoyable thing, to seek the peace in the blatant, and to seek an aim in the hesitation. We can learn so much from this book. Over a century passing by, the glory of this book doesn’t vanish, instead it becomes more excellent, and it connects people generation by generation.读书破万卷下笔如有神,。

In the book, I can forget the sadness as a child can put it all behind. This book was written by the United States Louisa·May·Alcott. This book can be regarded as a family biography to read, but it is not about the adults' struggle but the growth of the children, telling them how to become mature from a naive, from vulnerable to suffering, from urgent to patient, from self to others. The book is a lively splash everywhere, the young man's innocence, purity, courage and vision for the future. They are really impressive. They four characters were completely different. Meg was16, Jo was15, Beth was14 , Amy was12. Meg was beautiful, attractive. And she envied dress. She did tuloring to help the family. Joe had a eautiful hair, and she was always running around in circles and had a strong personality.Though she often maked things worse, had a bad temper and did something like a boy,she was sincere. She loved writing and she helped family by doing nursing.Beth, loved by most people, was very cute and shy.She wasvery quiet and never be angry. After reading this novel, I have some opinions about these four women. The novel described four sisters in the March family; they were kind to each other and love each other, hardworking, stayed with neighbor Laurence friendly. Different disposition girls had found their own happy through their own goodness and industrious. The novel has not a fluctuation plot and fascinating suspension in a play, but the author described the happiness in March family with the simple language. Their good and kind, loyalty to love and family has left me a deep impression. The author only described very ordinary detail in the life, but reveals the love to the happy life expectation everywhere.Although these girls born in a poor family, but they all had the positive attitude to any matter, the novel had laid emphasis on their individuality and the dignity, but also has displayed their self-expression restraint. Independently was these four girls’s common characteristic, they always keep discovering their own shortcoming and correct it as soon as possible which worth our learning. Look we, some people always make mistakes, but they always think that it is a small mistake; they don’t need to notice it, let it go. If every one like them, the society will become very awful, no rule can limit people’s behaviors, they can do anything they like. These four girls are very different, let me introduce them, Meg, the eldest of the four, was sixteen, and very pretty, beingplump and fair, with large eyes, plenty of soft, brown hair, a sweet mouth, and white hands, of which she was rather vain. Fifteen-year-old Jo was very tall, thin, and brown, and reminded one of a colt, for she never seemed to know what to do with her long limbs, which were very much in her way. She had a decided mouth, a comical nose, and sharp, gray eyes, which appeared to see everything, and was by turns fierce, funny, or thoughtful. Her long, thick hair was her one beauty, but it was usually bundled into a net, to be out of her way. Round shoulders had Jo, big hands and feet, a flyaway look to her clothes, and the uncomfortable appearance of a girl who was rapidly shooting up into a woman and didn't like it. Beth, as everyone called her was a rosy, smooth-haired, bright-eyed girl of thirteen, with a shy manner, a timid voice, and a peaceful expression which was seldom disturbed. Her father called her "Little Tranquility," and the name suited her excellently, for she seemed to live in a happy world of her own, only venturing out to meet the few whom she trusted and loved. Amy, though the youngest, was a most important person in her own opinion at least. A regular snow maiden, with blue eyes, and yellow hair curling on her shoulders, pale and slender, and always carrying herself like a young ladymindful of her manners. What the characters of the four sisters were we will leave to be found out.I love Meg for her being glad to impoverish for love, not enticed by the money. She did family teacher to help the family. I love Jo for her free and easy, likes her for the steadfast determination which she struggles for dream. She earns living expenses with aunt March and writes articles for the newspaper to gain the payment to increase the daily necessities to the family. I love Beth for her tranquil characteristic, doing anything without any complain. Like her good personal character which always considers for others, she loves music and feels shy with strangers, so she always does some housework with her mother at home. I also love Amy for her strong desire; she regard supporting the poor people as her own faith. She was interested in sketch. Though their idea and the destiny are various, they had all found their own love.In their eyes, the family was not only the place of growth but also the holy refuge. They liked to hear their mother's instruction carefully; they created games by their clever brain and hands which can beautify the mind. Four sisters' growth courses were as if an interest education poem. The author hadshown us the humanity's great dear ones such as friendship and love with ordinary language. In my opinion, it will be the happiest matter if these four sisters can live with those who they love. They are all good person, if I can live with them, I think my left will become rich and colorful. An old saying said that “three women can play a performance”,woman always have their own idea, if the idea has formed, and almost no one can change it. When women meet, if one talks her opinion about something, another one will give her opinion to the first one, then the argument will take place, let’s imagine, there were four women in one family, though they are sister, argument can’t avoid, it will be very interesting in the home. From the novel, I have learned that we should keep hope for future and make great efforts to seek dream. I also have learned to cherish what you have had such as your parents, time and so on ,we should discover everyone's merit but to take the colored eye to see others shortcoming.Remember, whatever your goal is, you will get it if you are willing to do!感谢阅读,希望能帮助您!。

Mose, the American painter, said, “I don’t know how to live a better life.
They will listen carefully to their mother's teachings; will use their hands, fantastic brain to invent innovative and soul-grooming games one after another. It is the happiest thing to live forever with who love them and areloved by them in their eyes. Also I have realized that I ought to carefully find everyone’s advantages instead of seeing only negative aspects through our colored spectacles. And it is high time to doubly cherish what we have own before knowing its value by death. Having read the book from cover to cover, you may find Meg or Jo or Bethor Amy has stepped into your heart and left the confidence for you to go through rainy days in your life as they did. And what the author wanted to share with the readers through the things the characters had done and the words they had said make the book time-honored.。

The girls with different characters find their own happiness through their own goodness and hard work. The novel has dropped the ups and downs of the rock and there is no thrilling plot in the play. I read of this edition is by the YiLin press published in March 1997, the first part is translated by LiuChunying, the second part is ChenYuli responsible for translation The writer is Louisa May Alcott (1832 –1888), a famous female writer. She was born in Germantown, Pennsylvania of U.S.A. Her father was a philosopher, school reformer and Utopia activist in Concord, Massachusetts. All his life he indulged pursuit of an ideal, and he was unable to take family life. The burden of livelihood first down upon his wife’s, then fell to his second daughter Louisa May Alcott who has enterprise spirit.Louisa Alcott, taught to school, has been a seamstress, nurse, did laundry and valet, at the age of 15 she also did the servant. Louisa Alcott and her three sister’s childhood had a hard life. Although they are poor, often can only to dine, but she was full of energy and enthusiasm. At the age of 10, she was already eager to amateur theatre, at the age of 15 she wrote her first plot play, in 21-year old ,she began to publish poetry and furnitureIn 1868, a publisher suggested her to write a story about a “girl’s book”according to the memory of the child she was written as Little Women. In her book, she described herself to Jo March, her sister Anna, Bess and Elizabeth separate into Meg, Amy and Beth. Many parts of the book based on real life, but real life in Alcott’s economic conditions are far less than March’s. Out of the author’s expectation is that Little Women moved countless American readers, especially female r eaders’ chord. Later, Louisa followed Little Men(1871) and Joe Boys (1886).In 1873, she also published autobiography book The Experience Story with novel form. All of them brought Alcott’s steadily and abundant income.“Be comforted, dear soul! There is always light behind the clouds.”The sweet words are simple from the Little Women. Little Women is she well-known. And Louisa in her article also writes: “I want to own mind for weapons, in this difficult in this world rushes out a way to come.”Maybe this is what tends to her strong will.Carefully read the whole book, you will find, Louisa writes the Little Women is part of the real lives and the other part of her desire for a better life. Litter Women told a story in March’s. There four sisters: the elder sister Meg who in pursuit of high quality life but also could take care of others, second sister Joe who is full of restless but concerns the family, Amy is naughty but popular among the family and the youngest one, Beth who selfless, quite and also need the family’s care. Their mother is a kind woman, Mr. March joint the army. Such this kind of family live with neighbor like Marge aunt, a boy called Laurie, Laurie’s grandfather Mr. Laurence. The whole book can say is March’s four sisters and boy Laurie growth course. In the process, they all know more of the side of family love, friendship, real love, and more rational to meet them. Now, I want to analyze each of them form their personalities and life experiences. As a protagonist of the novel, Jo is supposed to be autobiographical depiction of Louisa May Alcott herself. She is outspoken and has a passion for writing. Her nature often gets her into trouble, but her heart often pushes her into acts of kindness. She is free and easy, and she has steadfast determination which she struggles for dream. Sheearns living expenses with aunt March and writes articles for the newspaper to gain the payment to increase the daily necessities to the family. Just like Louisa May Alcott herself. She is close to her younger sister, Beth. When Beth comes down with scarlet fever, Jo cuts off her long, chestnut brown hair—“her one beauty”, as Amy calls it —and sells it to a wig shop to earn travel money for her mother to visit their father, a Civil War chaplain who is dangerously ill She likes Laurie, but this is just a pure friendship, she wants to let Meg marries with Laurie, later wants to let Amy or Beth to marry him, Joe thinks they are match each other. Finally when Laurie expresses his love, even propose to her, she find that in the middle of the block is herself, and she refuse. Then she choose to escape, as she grow up, know how to love and has the desire to love someone, she lose Laurie forever! Sometime, when we lost someone, we should realize how important he or she was! But everything were over, we can not change anything. Later, Jo moves to New Y ork, where she meet Professor Friedrich “Fritz”Bhaer, whom she later married. Regarding Jo’s marriage, Alcott later wrote, “Jo should have remained a literary spinster, but so many enthusiastic young ladies wrote to me clamorously demanding that she should marry Laurie, or somebody, that I did not dare refuse and out of perversity went and made a funny match for her”. In my opinion, If I were Alcott I would let Jo married with Laurie. After all, Jo had loved Laurie and Laurie also loved her, it may be the first love for Jo, I guess. But everything can not change again because it is late, time is over, everything is over, either.Beth is a considerate, shy and the most silent girl. She does anything without complain. She also helps her mother with the housework. She enjoys her dolls and cats. She prefers to be homeschooled and avoids most public situations. I think Alcott also prefers to her and describes her as a sweet girl with a round young face and brown hair. She has a close relationship with Jo, despite their different personalities. For everyone to do things, in order to help others she caught scarlet fever, and even pay her whole life. To her death, all were devastated. I believe, even if the most selfish person will be deplored.Meg as the most elder sister for home burden, go out to be a tutor, although she likes to pursue noble and vanity, but in the end, she gave up her aunt Marge’s heritage, married with the poor Mr. Brooke, lived bitter but sweet and happy life.Amy wants to be fair maiden, in pursuit of art, but always likes quarrel with Jo. Later, she went to study over world, helped the pour, became mature and steady, finally, together with Laurie. This is such a kind March’s, they altogether for the family, strong and independent, choose their own way of life. It can say they tend to mature gradually, their heart is always good, although at the heart of writing poetry to partner or the heart which tear for little sister’s death, but now the heart of the harvest. There are many touching words in the book: Beth sick at stake, sisters Marge prayed: “If god gave to Beth a chance to live, I will not complain.”Meg devout whispered. I made deeply impression of this part. However, many inspiration aroundthe book, I forgot these parts exactly, but I still moved by them because it has already carved in my mind.。
