How to cook convenient noodles
It is common in dorms that college students eat
convenient noodles after 11pm. On the internet, some
graduates struggling in big cities even share their
different ways of cooking. Although eating convenient
noodles too often is not good for health, it is useful to
know how to cook convenient noodles as a kind of
delicious food. There are generally five steps including
oil, water, ingredients, noodles and eggs.
The first step is to add the oil the amount of which is
about 10ml. When the oil begin to boil, you can add two
or three Zanthorxylum bungeanum if you like. One
caution in this step is that you should be careful of the
boiled water which may splash out of the pan to scald
your arm. If you prefer hot spicy food, you can also add
the pepper after the Zanthorxylum bungeanum. But there
are two tips that needs paying attention. One tip is to add

pepper after removing the Zanthorxylum bungeanum,
and the other one is to place the pepper in the boiled
water for no more than ten seconds. Too much time in
the boiled water will make the red pepper become black
ones which can affect the appreciation of the dish. So the
coming of water after the pepper in time is essentially
important.
Too much water or too little water both can affect the
taste of the noodles. You should be very careful when
you add some water, because the oil is still boiling and
splashing. As a result, it is important to let the water flow
slowly through the edge of the pot. The amount of water
is about 500 ml for each share of the noodles. Then
uncover the pan and wait for about 5 minutes till the
water begins to boil. Meanwhile, you need stir the water
continually to aviod the foam.
Next step is too add the ingredients accompanied by the
noodles before putting the noodles into the boiled water.
It is said that the sequence of the ingredients and the
noodles matters if you want the taste of the ingredients
get into the noodles as much as possible. Also you should

keep stiring the soup in order to blend the ingredients
with water. The amount of the ingredients depend much
on the individual’ s taste.
After the ingredients, it is time for the noodles.
Naturally noodles will float to the surface of the boiled
soup under which you should push the noodles. Only in
this way can every part of the the noodles absorb the
tasty soup. After being boiled for nearly 3 minutes, the
noodles can be scattered into strips with your continual
stir.
The last step comes with the addition to eggs. Knock
one or two eggs and let both the yolk and the albumen
fall together into the soup. In this way, you can get a
poaching egg with the egg yolk 7 percent-cooked. The
addition to eggs is not only for nutrition but also for the
visual sense.
About a minute later, the noodles are ready to get into
the bowl. Remember the five steps which are additions to
oil, water, ingredients, noodles and eggs, and some small
tips, you will taste a bowl of delicious noodles, even they
are just convenient noodles.
