1).Good morning! 早上或者上午见面较为正式的问候语,意思是早上好!早安!
上午好!Actually, we use it from the time you get up in the morning to
12 o’clock at noon. When someone said ‚Good morning‛ We should say ‚Good
morning‛, too. There are also some other greetings we often use in our
daily life, such as ‚Good afternoon!‛ ‚Good night!‛
2).Nice to meet you.见到你很高兴,是初次相识见面时的问候语,是一个省略
句,完整的是 ‚It’s nice to meet you.‛ If someone else say this first,
you should answer‛ Nice to meet you, too.‛ or you can say ‚Nice to see
you, too.‛

Step 2 Presentation
Let’s come to part B Listen and Say. First I will turn on the radio and
you can look your book.

1. Mike: Miss Li, this is David.

Miss Li: Good morning.
David: Good morning, Miss Li.
2. Nancy: Mr. Green, this is Yang Ling.
Mr. Green: Good morning.
Yang Ling: Good morning, Mr. Green.
3. Yang Ding: Good afternoon, David. This is Wang Bing.
David: Nice to meet you, Wang Bing.
Wang Bing: Nice to meet you, too.
4. Nancy: Good afternoon, Liu Tao. This is Helen.
Liu Tao: Nice to meet you, Helen.

Step 3 Drill

1.
Listen to the radio again

2. Ask the students to exchange their roles and read the dialogue aloud
again.
3. Get several pairs to read aloud the dialogue.
4. Get the whole class to drill the dialogue in pairs.
Divide the students into four groups and ask them to practice the patterns
by themselves.

Step 4 Practice
1. Ask two students to go out
2. Ask several pairs to act out the dialogue
3. Ask the two students to go back and talk about the class attendance

Step 5 Workbook and homework
1. Ask the students to read the dialogue at home.
2. Lean the new words and phrases by heart after class and review the
reading passage
