1. What day is it today? 今天是星期几？
本句是用来询问星期几的特殊疑问句，其回答是“It's + 星期名称。

”
——What day is it today?
——It's Tuesday.
2. We have Chinese and English on Tuesday.
我们星期二有语文和英语。

(1)have一词当“有”讲，构成“have+课程名
称”或者“have a / an (+课程名称)+class”，意为“上……课，有……课”。

我今天有一堂数学课！
I have a Math class today!
(2)on表示“在具体的某一天”，
“on + 星期名称”表示“在星期几”。

如：on Thursday在星期四；
on Sep. 1st在九月一号；
on the first day在第一天。

on的其他常见用法如下：
(1)表示位置，意为“在……上面”
如：on the book在书上面。

(2)表示“靠近；接近”
如：on the left在左边。

(3)指活动，表示“从事……”
如：on duty值日。

(4)用于固定短语
如：on time准时，on foot步行。
