作伴随状语——伴随状语的特点是：它所表达的动作或状态是伴随着句子谓语动词的动作而发生或存在的。例如：
He sat in the armchair [ˈɑrmˌtʃɛr]reading a newspaper.
他坐在扶手椅里读报。
练习：他整夜躺在床上睡不着，思考着那个问题。
11. 区分have done & have been doing
完成时(have done)强调动作的结果或成就;完成进行时(have been doing)强调动作持续的过程。具体来讲，现在完成时have done是强调动作产生的结果或取得的成就，而不是动作本身;现在完成进行时have been doing强调的则是在一段时期内某项活动的持续性，强调的是动作本身。
a. 我已经把房子粉刷成绿色。 本来房子是白色的，但现在是绿色的了。
I have painted the house green. The house was white, but now it’s green.
have painted表示painted动作已经结束，而且动作导致的结果是房间现在是绿色的了。
b. 我的手很脏，我现在一直在给房间刷漆 。
My hands are very dirty. I’ve been painting the house.
（have been painting表示painting动作一直在持续，活动还没有结束，所以才有my hands
are very dirty这样的现状）

11. 分析：句a用完成进行时have been cleaning就表明动作一直在持续，还没有结束，意思是“我一直在打扫房间，还没有扫完”。
句b因为它前面句子用了完成时态have cleaned就应该表示动作cleaned已经结束，即“我把房间已经打扫完了”，而后面接了一个I still haven’t finished，显然前后矛盾，所以错误。
句c，句d同理。（说出了五杯咖啡，是结果。）
