very relaxed when she sings and dances. Look! She’s not heavy or thin.

Don’t cut in line

Monday, when I got back home from school, I heard my father was ill

in hospital, so I hurried to hospital. The hospital is far from my home, so I

had to take the bus. But there were many people waiting in line at the bus

stop. I was so worried that I cut in line. A little boy said, “Don’t cut in line.”

My face turned red, and I went back to the end of the queue.

At last the bus came, on the way to the hospital I thought, “The little boy

knows cutting in line is impolite. I’m older than him. I’ll never do it again.

My Pet Dog

Dogs are popular pets. I have pet dog. His hair is brown, he has short

legs and a short tail, but his ears are big. I like my dog because he is very

friendly and cute.

A dog is the best pet. He is very easy to take care of. We often take a

walk together and I clean up his hair every day. He is my good friend.

However, life with a dog isn’t always perfect. Sometimes he bites and runs

around the room. He can’t be quiet, so it’s very noisy.

Have you ever been to Shanghai?

Have you ever been to Shanghai? I have been there once. I went there

with my parents last year. Shanghai is a city with a long history and

wonderful culture. There are quite a lot of places of interesting. First we

went to the Bund, it’s one of the most popular ones for visitors. When you

walk along the Bund, you really enjoy yourself. Then we went to the

Oriental Pearl TV Tower. It’s very beautiful and famous, and it’s the highest

in Asia. In the afternoon, we went to Yu Garden. It’s also a good place to go.

There are many small gardens in it. In the evening, we went to the People’s

Square. It’s really a wonderful place t have a good time. We were tired, but

we were happy.

I like collecting balls. I started collecting ball when I was ten years old.

They are different in color and size. All of them are very beautiful. And I

Ted is a lovely dog. Everyone in our family like it. Now I will tell you a

story about him.

Every day my father comes back from work very late. Ted often waits

for him. When he hears my father’s steps, he always picks up his slippers for

him. One day, my father came back later than usual. Ted went to the door

again and again. When my father came back, he couldn’t find his slippers.

At last, he found them in Ted’s basket(his small bed). He was sleeping with

my father’s slippers under his paws!

Mary has been to Hainan. She has been there for three times. She likes

it very much. She went there again last summer. She and her parents stayed
