Teacher should assign homework for students every day.
Since we study in school, everyday ,we have homework in various subjects. When we talk
about homework, it dose not only refer to in terms of assignment, but also regard as
finding relevant information, research, and preparing lessons before class. Some
people claim that students are over load by study and homework. I still insist that
homework play an important rale in study though. Because homework has several
advantages, such as helping review, teachers getting know about students, and school
checking the work quality of teacher.
To begin with, for one thing, students need homework to help them to review what they
have studied in daylight. Some students do not want to review after school, because
they fell tired though a whole day study. However, review is a significant process of
study. because it make students deeply understand the knowledge they have learn in
classes and find what they do not understand. So homework is a kind of method, in
order to motivate students to review. Which is an obligation to the work of the
teachers and the tuition offered by their parents. Besides homework also contain
some researches and preparation of tomorrow classes. These activities also are
important for the study of students. Research is the best way to let students put the
theory to practice. Preparation can help students to pay attention on the lecture
easily.
Moreover, homework is a kind of way that students feedback teachers. How about my
lecture? Do I clear the points that I want to stress? Do students understand me?
Those questions asked by the all teachers after classes. So that they assign homework, in order to
find the answer from it. As we know, it indeed is a large work of teacher that they
Should mark all assignments for students. Although marking homework adds the work for them,
they also want to assign some useful assignment. The teachers can conclude some part of
knowledge which most students make mistakes. So that they can reinforce this section
at next class.
Finally, school managers also request that teachers assign some homework to students. In
order to check the quality of the work of teachers. For example, when I study in high
school,our assignments should be keep a long time. Sometime, managers will spot
check several assignments. On one hand, they can learn whether students real understand
the knowledge. On other hand, they also can learn the attitude of teachers to the assignments.
Some teacher will be fired, if they do not care about assignments of students. By this
method, school will earn a good reputation, and then more and more students attend
this school.
Although homework adds the load to the students, it is worth taking some time to
finish assignment. Also, teachers always assign reasonable homework which are the
most important sections and will not occupy too much time.
