Using the simple present tense to describe animals and talk about
their facts.
二、教学难点::
Talk about the animals facts as more as they can.
三、教学工具:
Multimedia,Tape,Book.
四、教学过程:
Step 1. Warming- up
1.Greetings.
2.Free Talk.
Step 2. Revision and Presentation
1.Play a guessing game. (Review some animals and describe them)
2.Ask and answer about the animals.
eg. T: What’s this?(show a picture of a panda, and cover some parts of it.)
Ss: It’s a panda. It’s fat.
3. Practice asking and answering in groups.
4. Show the task: Today, we’ll talk about the animals. And let’s see who can be the
best friend with the animals.
Step 3. Look, write and find
1. Look at the PPT and say the words:
grass , sun ,water, bear ,winter, children ,bamboo , snake.
2. First practice with the whole class, then hold a competition among groups.
3. Show some pictures to students and ask them to write some sentences on the
paper. Then check it.
eg. 1) Snakes love the sun.
2) Elephants like water.
3) Pandas love bamboo.
4) Sheep like grass.
5) Dogs like playing with children.
6) Bears like to sleep in the winter.
4. Listen and read the sentences.
5. Keys and Difficults.
1) like doing sth 或 love doing sth . 后者强调程度更深,表示一个人的爱好,
或者经常性的动作。
2) like to do sth 或 love to do sth 虽然也是喜欢做某事,但是不是指一个人
的爱好,或者经常性的动作,而是指一次性的动作或者偶尔的行为。
Step 4. Practice and Finish the task

Ss: They are snakes.
2.Read and complete.
