Application for M.Sc. in Quantitative Finance by Course Work
Instructions for Applicants (Online Application)

1. Apply online at https://inetapps.nus.edu.sg/GDA2/Home.aspx
2. Upload the following documents to the online application system. All documents which are not in English must be accompanied by an official certified English translation.
2.1. Academic transcripts
2.2. Graduation certificates
2.3. TOEFL or IELTS score sheet
2.4. NRIC (for Singaporean/SPR) / Passport
2.5. Documentary proof of awards/achievements (if any)
3. Submit one set of the following documents, in hard copy, by post.
3.1. Application form printed from online application system, complete with signature and photograph;
3.2. Application fee (S$20.00 per online application, GST is included):
Payment by BANK DRAFT: Amount payable must be in Singapore currency and drawn on a bank in Singapore with payee as “National University of Singapore”. On the back of the bank draft, write your name, application number, mailing address and programme applied for. Bank draft in other currencies will not be processed.
Payment by CHEQUE: Cross the cheque with payee as “National University of Singapore”. On the back of the cheque, write your name, application number, mailing address and programme applied for. Only Singapore cheques are accepted. Cheques from other countries or in other currencies will not be processed.
Payment by NETS: Personal payment by NETS will only be accepted at the Student Service Centre (Level 1, Yusof Ishak House, NUS) from 9am – 5pm (Monday to Friday).
Payment by CREDIT CARD: Payment by credit card is available with the online application system.
3.3. For payment via bank draft/ cheque/ NETS, applicants must complete and submit the Application Fee Form. For payment via credit card, applicant must submit proof of payment which can be printed from the online application system.
3.4. Academic transcripts of:
degree and/or higher degree,
GCE ‘A’ level examination or equivalent qualifications, e.g. high school, polytechnic diploma;
3.5. Graduation certificates for documents listed in (3.4);
3.6. Original TOEFL or IELTS score sheet which is within two years’ validity.

3.7. Documentary proof of citizenship or permanent residence status, e.g. IC, passport;
3.8. Documentary proof of ability to finance the studies, e.g. latest account balance, pay slip, letter from sponsor, letter of scholarship award;
3.9. Certified true copies of the English translation of the documents that are not in English.
4. Applicants are required to submit the required documents in hard copies to the department after submitting the application online. All off-line payment and required documents must reach the department by the closing date. Payment and submissions received after the closing date will not be processed. 5. Incorrect payment and omission of required information or supporting documents will cause delay and may render the application void.
6. Applicants must produce originals of all documents when requested.
