Today my teaching topic is word power in unit 2 language,from Advance With English Book 3.Now let's begin.一、the analysis of the textV ocabulary study plays a vital role in English study. In this section, students are expected to distinguish the Formal english from the Informal english.Besides,students also have to learn the words about countries and languages.By doing various exercises, they are expected to get familiar with these new words and know how to use them correctly. In the end, their vocabulary will be enlarged, which will help them lay a solid foundation for their English study.1、teaching aimsKnowledge goals:Enlarge students’vocabulary about countries and languages and can make a distinction between informal english and formal english.Ability goals: Make sure students understand the new words and expressions and know how to use them.Emotion goals:By doing different tasks, students will set upself-confidence in English study.2、teaching focuschild/kid,solve/handle,prevent/stop,tough/hard,reply/answer,appreciate it if you would do/like you to do,look forward to/wait for,take~into consideration/think about,i regret to inform you/I am sorry to say,A large amount of/number of,admire/look up to,draw your attention to/speak to you about and so on.Countries and languageLanguage points:flee,ruin,remains,explode,nearby,in memory of ,no doubt,rise up against,stand in one's path,march,aware,court,corrupt,judge.3、teaching difficultiesHow to help students to master the new words and expressions.How to help students apply what they have learned to practical use.二、the analysis of the teaching methodsHigh school is a time of discovery,learning and hard work. So when teaching senior students,we should make every effort to encourage their initiative and creativity.Therefore,in the class the teacher is to act as a guide and the students as an actor to do the activities.So we can adopt the following theories:Teaching theories:T ask-based Language Teaching;Communicative Teaching;3P Teaching: presentation, practice ,production.(1)Before dealing with this lesson, I'll do my best to carry out the following theories:A、Make the S the real master in class while the teacher himself acts as a director；B、Let the student receive some moral education while he is learning the English language.Teaching methods:Question-and-answer activity teaching methodFree discussion methodPair work method三、the analysis of the studying methodsThrough the around six-year-time english study,Senior students master a certain amount of words and phrases and also have a general understanding of english culture.So students in the class are expected to be the main body,namely, most of the time in the class should be spent on the students.Thence senior students must develop a positive attitude towards English study.Teachers should do as follows:(1)Teach students how to be successful language learners.(2)Teach students how to develop the reading skills :skimming&scanning; how to communicate with others ;how to learn new words; how to learn English independently.(3)Get the students to form good learning habits.In a word,teachers must connect the teaching methods with studying methods in order to make students have an effective learning.For example,3P teaching methods:In the phase of presentation,teachers should do their best to let students get a vivid understanding of the content the unit talks about and encourage them to have a discuss about the content so as to trigger their further learning interests;In the phase of practice,students are expected to devote themselves to the relative practice,such as discuss,pair work,program and so on.Through this stage,students know how to use the knowledge they learned and consequently they will master the knowledge better.In the phase of the produce,teachers will arrange some tasks or homeworks to assess the students' learning effects.Students should review all the knowledge learned in the class and finish the homeworks independently.四、arrangement of the teaching procedureExcept for the words about countries and languages,I plan to explain all the important words in the unit. Only when students master all the key words in the unit,can they understand the unit better.So I will put word part in second part of the class,following Welcome to the unit.I will take four steps to explain the words period.(1)lead-in stageI will show students some pictures about flags of different countries and let them distinguish which country they belong to and what language the country speak.I also will use slide to show students some formal english and some informal english and let them think about their differences.Then I will ask students to finish the work on page 26 to 27.Among this stage,students can master the new words better and know how to use them.(2)explanation stageAfter the discuss,I will explain the other important word in the unit.For example:Flee [fli:]vi.逃走，逃掉；消失;vt.逃离，逃避He slammed the bedroom door behind him and fled...He fled to America to avoid military service.fled from wars, famine and persecution 逃避战争、饥荒和迫害区别get away (from); run away (from);escape (from);flee (from)；flee from/to(3)Consolidation stageI will give them some relative work to test the effect of this lesson.(4)HomeworkReporting on body language.五、evaluation and reflectionEvaluate the effect of this class and improve it afterwards.Adopt the methods of self-assessment and task-assessment.六、Design of blackboardBlackboard design should be think for a thing that attracts the stu dent’ s attention and let them to write down the important teaching points. I will divide the blackboard into two parts .The left part will be used to write the important vocabulary and grammar and their usage. It will be reserved for the whole class. The right part will be prepared for explanation, I will write some sentence of the words ,phrases and structures to explain their meaning.。

（1）正确运用一般过去时态描述旅行经历。
（2）阅读过程中对文章细节的理解。
（3）词汇的拓展运用，如一词多义、同义词等。
二、学情分析导
（一）学生特点
本节课面向的是八年级学生，这个年龄段的学生正处于青春期，精力充沛，好奇心强，具备一定的独立思考能力。他们的认知水平逐渐从具体运算向形式运算转变，能够理解抽象概念，但仍然需要具体实例来辅助理解。在学习兴趣方面，学生对新鲜事物充满兴趣，尤其对旅游等贴近生活的主题感兴趣。然而，他们的学习习惯尚在形成中，需要教师在教学中不断引导和培养良好的学习习惯，如主动预习、认真听讲、及时复习等。
（二）新知讲授
在新知讲授阶段，我将逐步呈现知识点，引导学生深入理解：
1.通过PPT展示本节课的核心词汇和短语，结合图片和语境进行讲解，帮助学生记忆和理解。

《Unit 2 My favourite season 》说课稿一、案例设计说明：课题：My favourite season 第四课时教材选自：PEP小学英语五年级下册Unit2:PartB let’s learn二、学生分析本课时是小学五年级学生的教学内容。

该年龄阶段的学生具有可塑性强的特点，学生的这一年龄特征使得他们容易接受或改变一些观念，容易培养浓厚的学习兴趣、良好的学习策略和习惯。

和成人相比，他们对新鲜事物的接受要快得多，主动得多。

因此，他们也能够很快地接受新的教学法和新的学习方法，并逐渐养成习惯，把教师的教转化为他们自己的学。

三、教学内容分析1、本课内容是以PEP五年级下册第二单元My favourite season 第四课时进行设计，本课将复习和巩固前两节所学句型Which season do you like best?并在此基础上引入五个四会单词和短语，在学会四会单词和短语的基础上学会使用句型What would you like to do ?I’d like to ……进行交流。

通过这节课，学生将提高用英语进行交流的能力。

四、教学目标与要求（一）语言知识技能目标1、能够听、说、认读写本课时的五个主要词组：swim, fly kites, skate, make a snowman, plant trees2．能使用句型: What would you like to do ?I’d like to ……进行交流（二）非语言技能目标1、情感态度：培养和保持学生学习英语的积极态度和学习信心，引导学生养成良好的英语学习习惯。

2、学习策略：加强学生英语学习策略的培养，为学生的终身学习奠定基础。

3、文化目标：培养学生文化意识，帮助学生养成良好的日常行为习惯。

五、处理教材的基本思路1、从知识结构出发：从旧知到新知2、从语言结构出发：从词汇到对话3、从语言技能出发：从听说到读写。

4、从学生语言能力培养出发：从单项语言技能到综合语言运用能力。
