一、词汇部分
1、 重点单词
adventure:意为“冒险;冒险经历”。例如:“They went on an
adventure in the jungle”(他们在丛林中冒险。)
explore:有“探测;探索;探险”的意思。如:“Scientists are
exploring the unknown world”(科学家们正在探索未知的世界。)
mysterious:“神秘的;难以理解的”。“The mysterious disappearance
of the plane puzzled everyone”(飞机的神秘失踪让每个人都感到困惑。)
curious:“好奇的;求知欲强的”。“The little boy was curious about
everything around him”(这个小男孩对他周围的一切都很好奇。)
2、 短语
set out:“出发;动身;开始”。“They set out early in the morning”(他们一大早就出发了。)
be full of:“充满;装满”。“The box is full of books”(这个盒子装满了书。)
in search of:“寻找;搜寻”。“He went out in search of his lost dog”(他出去寻找他丢失的狗。) 二、语法部分
1、 过去进行时
过去进行时表示过去某一时刻或某一段时间正在进行的动作。其构成是“was/were + 现在分词”。
例如:“I was reading a book at that time”(那时我正在读一本书。)
常与过去进行时连用的时间状语有:at that time, this time yesterday,
from eight to ten last night 等。
