Wehaverevealednewfeaturesintheout-of-planeresistivityρcofheavilyunderdopedRBa2Cu3O6+x(R=Tm,Lu)singlecrystals,whichgiveevidencefortwodistinctmechanismscon-tributingthec-axistransport.Wehaveobservedacrossovertowards”metal-like”(∂ρc/∂T>0)behavioratthetemperatureTmwhichquicklyincreaseswithdecreasingdoping.The”metal-like”conductivitycontributiondominatesatTanisotropy,ρc/ρab.Theantiferromagneticorderingisfoundtoblockthis”metal-like”partofthec-axisconductivityandcompletedecouplingofCuO2planes,whichmaybethereasonofsupercon-ductivitydisappearance.
