My favorite festival is the Spring Festival. It is a time of joy and

reunion for families.

During the Spring Festival, the whole country is filled with a festive

atmosphere. Every household is decorated with red lanterns and colorful

come together to make dumplings. The process is full of laughter and

warmth. We carefully wrap each dumpling, hoping for good luck and

happiness in the new year.

mood. And pasting Spring Festival couplets is also an important tradition.

My Favorite Holiday: The Dragon Boat Festival

Dragon Boat Festival is my favoritest holiday ever! It's so

much fun and there are so many cool traditions. I love eating

zongzi, rowing dragon boats, and hanging up smelly plant leaves.

Let me tell you all about it!

First off, zongzi are the yummiest food in the whole wide

world. They are little pyramid shaped dumplings made of sticky

rice stuffed with delicious fillings like pork, beans, egg yolks, and

more. My mommy makes the best zongzi - she lets me help put

the fillings in the middle and wrap them up tight in bamboo

leaves. The leaves make the zongzi smell all earthy and good. I

can never eat just one zongzi because they are that tasty!

Another awesome part of Dragon Boat Festival is the dragon

boat races. Wow, those long skinny boats are so neat! They have

My Favorite Holiday is the Dragon Boat Festival

The Dragon Boat Festival is my absolute favorite holiday! It's

a super fun and exciting day filled with all sorts of amazing

activities and yummy foods. I always look forward to it every

year.

One of the best parts is getting to eat zongzi! Zongzi are

these delicious sticky rice dumplings wrapped up in bamboo

leaves. They can have different fillings inside like red bean paste,

meat, egg yolk, or just plain salted rice. My mom makes the most

scrumptious homemade zongzi every Dragon Boat Festival. The

bamboo aroma mixes with the savory filling and sticky rice in

such a mouthwatering way. I can't get enough of them! We stuff

ourselves until our bellies are completely full.
