General DescriptionThe MAX4534 (single 4-to-1) and MAX4535 (dual 2-to-1) fault-protected multiplexers operate with ±4.5V to±20V dual supplies or a +9V to +36V single supply.These multiplexers feature fault-protected inputs, rail-to-rail signal-handling capability, and overvoltageclamping at 150mV beyond the rails. Both parts feature±40V overvoltage protection with supplies off and ±25Vprotection with supplies on. On-resistance is 400Ωmaxand is matched between channels to 10Ωmax. Selector GuideGeneral Description

The MAX3440E–MAX3444E fault-protected RS-485 andJ1708 transceivers feature ±60V protection from signalfaults on communication bus lines. Each device containsone differential line driver with three-state output and onedifferential line receiver with three-state input. The 1/4-unit-load receiver input impedance allows up to 128 trans-ceivers on a single bus. The devices operate from a 5Vsupply at data rates of up to 10Mbps. True fail-safe inputsguarantee a logic-high receiver output when the receiverinputs are open, shorted, or connected to an idle data line.

Hot-swap circuitry eliminates false transitions on thedata bus during circuit initialization or connection to alive backplane. Short-circuit current-limiting and ther-mal shutdown circuitry protect the driver against exces-sive power dissipation, and on-chip ±15kV ESDprotection eliminates costly external protection devices.

General Description

The MAX4051/MAX4052/MAX4053 and

MAX4051A/MAX4052A/MAX4053A are low-voltage, CMOS

analog ICs configured as an 8-channel multiplexer

(MAX4051/A),two 4-channel multiplexers (MAX4052/A), and

three sin-gle-pole/double-throw (SPDT) switches

(MAX4053/A).The A-suffix parts are fully characterized for on-resistance match, on-resistance flatness, and low leakage.

These CMOS devices can operate continuously with dual

power supplies ranging from ±2.7V to ±8V or a single supply

between +2.7V and +16V. Each switch can handle rail-to-rail

analog signals. The off-leakage current is only 0.1nA at +25°C or

5nA at +85°C (MAX4051A/MAX4052A/MAX4053A).

All digital inputs have 0.8V to 2.4V logic thresholds,ensuring

TTL/CMOS-logic compatibility when using ±5V or a single +5V

supply.

General Description

The MAX4389/MAX4390/MAX4392–MAX4396 family of

op amps are unity-gain stable devices that combine

high-speed performance, rail-to-rail outputs, and dis-

able mode. These devices are targeted for applications

where an input or an output is exposed to the outside

world, such as video and communications.

The MAX4389/MAX4390/MAX4392–MAX4396 operate

from a single 4.5V to 11V supply or from dual ±2.25V to

±5.5V supplies. The common-mode input voltage range

extends to the negative power-supply rail (ground in sin-

gle-supply applications). The MAX4389/MAX4390/

MAX4392–MAX4396 consume only 5.5mA of quinescent

supply current per amplifier while achieving a 85MHz

-3dB bandwidth, 27MHz 0.1dB gain flatness, and a

500V/µs slew rate. Disable mode sets the outputs to high

impedance while consuming only 450µA of current.
