比较状语从句篇
01 比较状语从句的概念
比较状语从句是建立在形容词或副词的平级、比较级的基础上的一个状语从句。
我们如果将平级/比较级句型中的比较对象从名词/代词换为从句，则构成比较状语从句。
如：
Mike is as tall as James.
迈克和詹姆斯一样高。
There were not as many apples as was expected.
苹果没有预期的那么多。
02 比较状语从句的引导词
比较状语的引导词主要有二种：
A. 平级一般是【as...as; not so/as+adj+as】
It is not so/as simple as it sounds.
这没有听起来那么简单。
B. 比较级一般是【比较级+than】
The pain is more than he could bear.
疼痛已经超出了他能容忍的极限。
03 比较状语从句中的省略
比较状语从句由于是二者比较，一般情况下会省略意义或形式重复的部分。
这些情况大家不必刻意去总结和记忆，只需要记住几个典型例句即可。
常见的包括：
省略主语的情况
There were not as many apples as（it）was expected.
苹果没有预期的那么多。
省略谓语的情况
Mike doesn't drink as much as James (does).
迈克没有詹姆斯喝得多。
省略与主句重复的其他成分
He was not as diligent as she was (diligent).
他没有她那么勤奋。
They were more pessimistic than we expected (them to be).
他们比我们期望的更悲观。

方式状语从句篇
01 方式状语从句的概念
方式状语从句是表示“按照，正如，好像”意义的从句，主要由as, as though/if来引导。
如：
Please do as you are told.
请按照吩咐你的方式去做。
As you like watching TV, I like playing video games.
正如你喜欢看电视，我喜欢玩游戏。
It looks as if/though it is going to rain.
天看起来好像要下雨了。
02 方式状语从句的引导词
方式状语从句的引导词一般有以下几种：
A. as和as if/though最为常见。
B. (just) as...so结构，是as的强调形式，突出一种对比，与while 表示对比类似。
如：
Just as water is the most important of liquids, so air is the most important of gases.
正如水是最重要的液体，空气是最重要的气体。
C. how/the way
The steak was cooked just how/the way I like it.
牛排做的正如我喜欢的那样。
D. 固定句型A is to B, what C is to D
Water is to fish, what air is to man.
水对于鱼犹如空气对于人（一样重要）。
03 方式状语从句的省略
