也可表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。
现在进行时的构成：助动词beam/ i/ are动词-ing【注意】be动词的形式应与主语的人称和数保持一致。
句型结构：①肯定句：主语be动词V-inge g He i drawingWe are having an Engih ca②否认句：主语be动词notV-ing现在进行时的否认式是直接在be动词后加not。
am not不能缩写，i not可以缩写成in’t，are not可以缩写成aren’t。
e g He in’t writingWe are not having an Engih ca③一般疑问句：Be动词主语V-ing其他？肯定答复：Ye, 主语be动词否认答复：No，主语be动词not〔或否认词缩略式〕变为一般疑问句时，直接将be动词提前，动词还是用V-ing形式。
