Composed of styrene and other monomers, they’re excellent for use in a wide range of applications, from paving and roofing materials to diapers, films and adhesives.ELASTIC FILMSTSRC / Dexco’s proprietary polymer synthesis technology allows for unprecedented control of block copolymer composition and properties. VECTOR styrenic block copolymers (SBCs) are stable, narrow molecular-weight styrenic block copolymers produced sequentially in an anionic polymerization process. These virtually 100% pure triblock copolymerscontain no residual diblock and have thehighest level of elasticity compared withSBCs of similar composition.VECTOR SIS- and SBS-based films are usedin laminate structures found in personal-careand hygiene applications including babydiapers and adult incontinence products,more specifically in diaper side panels, earsand waistband applications, where comfortand fit are important considerations.PACKAGINGThe unique structure of VECTOR SBCsmakes them useful for a variety of packagingapplications. 刚性链侧链型液晶高分子(甲壳型液晶高分子)研究进展*周其凤(北京大学化学学院高分子科学与工程系,北京,100871) 提要 普通的侧链型液晶高分子属柔性链高分子,而“甲壳型液晶高分子”虽从化学结构看属于侧链型液晶高分子,其性质却和典型的主链型液晶高分子相似,具有很大的分子链刚性。
本文介绍了“甲壳型液晶高分子”这一科学概念及其研究进展,并对尚待解决的问题进行了探讨。

这类高分子属于侧链型,可由烯类单体经链式聚合制得,因而容易得到高分子量产物,产物的分子量分布也有可能得到控制,因此具有上述柔性侧链型液晶高分子的一些优点,但是,与柔性侧链型液晶高分子不同的是,M JL CP分子中的刚性液晶基元是通过腰部或重心位置与主链相联结的,在主链与刚性液晶基元之间不要求联结基团或Spacer。
由于在这类液晶高分子的分子主链周围空间内刚性液晶基元的密度很高,分子主链被由液晶基元形成的外壳所包裹并被迫采取相对伸直的刚性链构象。
因此,我们可以将这类高分子称为刚性侧链型液晶高分子。
”值得注意的是,《高分子通报》编辑部在刊载这篇短文时破例加了一个[编者按]:“在本文中周其凤同志根据本人积累的研究经验和对液晶高分子结构的认识,提出了两个新概念,……并给出了相应的定义和实验依据,但有些学者认为含侧链的液晶高分子迄今尚无充分数据证实其为刚性侧链;……等不同异议,本刊将此文刊出的目的在于倡导创新活跃学术思维引起争论。

采用对烷基苯酚为起始原料,合成制得对烷基邻硝基苯酚,还原得到对烷基邻氨基苯酚,再与烷基苯氰在多聚磷酸脱水剂存在下合环得到2,52取代苯并噁唑类液晶化合物,并在此基础上进一步拓展,合成出了系列化合物。
标定了产品结构,测定了相关液晶参数,对液晶材料的性能进行了研究。
在所研究的液晶化合物中,有的品种已实现了量产。

随着液晶器件工作模式的发展,液晶材料也经历了一系列的变革。
为了追求更好的显示性能,人们不断对液晶材料提出更高的要求,如更低的驱动电压、更快的响应速度等。
在所有的液晶显示模式中,铁电液晶显示是响应速度最快的,其响应时间为微秒量级;而现在的L CD 产品即使采用响应速度最快的OCB 模式,其响应时间也达到几个毫秒。
所以,虽然在器件制造方面存在很大的难度,但人们一直没有放弃铁电液晶显示的研究。
苯并噁唑类液晶是一类尚处于研究阶段的强诱电性液晶材料[1,2],具有较好的应用前景。
制备苯并噁唑环的方法有很多,如酰氯法[2],硼酸和二乙二醇乙醚高温法,多聚磷酸法(PPA )[325],但各有其局限性。

Fe3O4不仅具有优异的磁性能(比如,常用于信息存储、磁流体、微波吸收、磁共振成像和药物传递材料等),还具有良好的催化性能(例如,用于水煤气变换反应、F-T合成、合成氨、丁烯和乙苯脱氢及氧化脱氢等方面的催化)[4—6]。
